Alright. I have a really stupid question. I built a two year ladder at six month intervals. My investments page show that they have lost a little value. That only applies if I decide to try and sell them on the open market, correct? I will still get the stated interest rates if I just let them sit until the term on each CD ends, right?

I posted the thread above concerning the end date of my FERS Supplement.

I wrote an inquiry to OPM and received an answer in two days. This is their response:

Thank you for your inquiry,

You appropriately received your final payment of the FERS Annuity Supplement for the month of June paid out 07/01/2026. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

I receive my first SS check on August 12 so not much of a break at all.

I turned 62 the first week of June, 2026. I still received the supplement on my 07/01/26 payment. I will start receiving SS in August for the month of July (my first eligible month). It was my understanding that the supplement was supposed to end the month prior to my turning 62. Does anyone here have any experience with this? Are they going to create an over payment and deduct it from a subsequent payment? Thanks in Advance.
