Best time to visit Florida in September or October

Hi! I would like to take a vacation to Florida (possibly Fort Myers Beach). I’m looking to go in mid to late September or early October. I understand it’s hurricane season and no way to know the weather this far in advance. In your opinion when would be the best time to visit? Thanks!

Deliveries will need to be made during agency hours of Monday through Friday between 8 am-4:30 pm.

Ways to help the children from this case

Taken from the South Central Ohio Job and Family Services Facebook page:

The outpouring of love and support for the situation in the Vinton County community has been truly overwhelming, and we are incredibly grateful to our community and individuals from across the state for wanting to help.

We recently became aware that an Amazon wish list is being shared; however, we are unable to verify who created or manages that list.

To ensure donations are coordinated appropriately and transparently, all monetary and other donations are organized through our director's office. We are also in the process of consulting with our attorneys regarding the establishment of a trust to ensure any monetary donations are properly managed for the benefit of the children.

If you would like to make a donation, please contact Shannon Kellough at 740-772-7451, or at shannon.kellough@jfs.ohio.gov., and let us know that you would like to make a donation. Shannon can provide information on the next steps and available donation options.

In addition, we have received several inquiries on how to become a foster parent. If you would like additional information, please email Jesssica Benner at jessica.benner@jfs.ohio.gov, or Breanne Campbell at Breanne.campbell@jfs.ohio.gov.

The kindness and compassion shown by our community and across the state remind us that even in difficult circumstances, people come together to make a difference. Thank you for your continued support and generosity.

Hi! I’m pretty new to this group. I’m trying to plan ahead. For those of you who lived in a 2 story home post operation, how long did it take for you to be able to do stairs? I understand it may vary and that I’ll be doing PT but just wanted to get an idea. I’m a 49 year old female. I anticipate having the surgery this fall or winter. My only bathroom and both bedrooms in my home are located upstairs.
