Mat132 Final and getting sick in the middle of it (tw!!)

Hi yall! Okay it seems like a really stupid question, but i actually bombed my mat132 final, and I was wondering if there was anything I could do. not because I didn’t study (i have pages and pages of notes and work), but my anxiety actually peaked during the final.

I was extremely nauseous during the entire final and had to ask a TA to leave to use the restroom… to put it lightly my $12 dunkin’ breakfast is in the school sewer systems now. I did debate throwing up in front of the entire class (to have prove that I infact was sick mid final), but i decided my dignity was far more important and I didn’t want to be the person to interrupt the entire final. regardless, I’m not sure what to do. I could barely focus the entire final and my entire body was trembling and hitting me with wave after wave of nausea. All I wanted to do was to get out of the room and go sit in a bathroom stall as my stomach literally was fighting against me to empty itself. i am NOT with any kind of cold or disease, as I was just extremely, extremely nervous beyond belief for my final.

I’m not sure what to do. If there’s anything I CAN do. I can’t definitively prove I was sick but my performance on the final was abhorrent not due to my own inability or bad studying, just pure anxiety.

Maybe I should’ve just throw up in front of the class 🫠🫠🫠

How is UVic's school culture like?

Hi y'all, before I get into it, thanks in advance for taking the time to read my post! I know people are going to downvote the hell out of me (I generally dislike seeing posts like this on my own school's sub) but I just needed to come ask.

I'm a prospective transfer student who recently got an offer from UVic. My situation is a bit complicated; I've lived in the US for like ~14-15 years, so to you guys I'd be considered "American" but I was born in Canada + have ONLY a canadian citizenship. (I pay a whopping $50k USD per year [with an $11k USD scholarship!] to go to school in the US, lol.) No, I do not have a greencard in the US.

I come from an extremely asian / academics focused school in the US. I am Chinese myself. I've heard that Uvic is extremely cauasian, and more relaxed in comparison. I've been in very cauasian heavy environments before for high school and have had a very bad time, as I was shunned for not really "fitting in" (I'm a very nerdy, weeby, mild socially anxious type). On the other hand, I dislike how academics focused my school is. People I know and myself have no social lives, and the morale on campus as a whole is extremely low. Everyone is stressed out of their minds all the time.

Of course, university and high school are extremely different. So I was wondering if anyone would talk to their own experiences of the culture on campus? Any insight would be appreciated alot!

I (20F) really like giving head / getting face fucked by my boyfriend (26M). Problem is, he’s on the thicker side so my jaw almost always hurts whenever I start oral on him. Additionally he has recently mentioned my teeth being an issue despite me in the moment trying my best to accommodate his size in his mouth without my teeth squeezing down on him (not really a compliant, this happened while we were trying something new. he generally does not seem to mind the feeling of teeth here and there as long as it doesn’t actively hurt his dick). Is there some kind of practice I could do to increase my resilience towards my jaw hurting?
