To my knowledge there’s no musky in this lake, but I can’t tell if this little fry that I caught on a grub is a musky or a pike

Was jigging for walleye and somehow snagged this pretty decent Lews Mach Smash combo. The rod is snapped in half, but the reel seems to be in savable condition. However the bail does not work. You kinda have to force it to move, it doesn’t snap into place, and it seems to not be locked in place correctly. Everything else however works perfectly after a grease and oil. Any idea? Should I take it to a repair?

Looking to get my first kayak for fishing. Definitely on a heavily limiting budget but still want to get something relatively stable that has rod holders and storage for gear (in northern Illinois area). Found this on marketplace for 100$, and I might be able to work it down a little more as well. Would this be a good purchase and are there any questions I should ask?

Thrifted this for 40$, I’m assuming it’s some kind of budget model, but when I looked it up I couldn’t find the exact model
