Stopping Seroquel

Don’t see my doctor until Friday and wanted to ask for guidance. I’ve been on Seroquel for about 2 weeks total. Before starting it, the voices would come and go a couple times a week. After starting the medication, especially when the dose was increased to 300mg, the voices started feeling constant and much more intense. I also started feeling very mentally and physically off on it.

I was only on 300mg for 2 days before being lowered back to 150mg, but I still feel worse overall. Would it be dangerous to suddenly stop taking it tomorrow, or should I stay on the 150mg until Friday?

Stoping Seroquel - 2 weeks in

I don’t see my doctor until Friday. I’ve only been on Seroquel for about 2 weeks total. I started on 150mg and felt horrible. They increased me to 300mg and I felt even worse. The voices became 24/7 instead of just a couple times a week. I was only on 300mg for 2 days and they lowered me back to 150mg.

Can I suddenly stop taking it tomorrow or is that a bad idea? The medication feels awful and honestly seems like it made my symptoms worse.

Just wanted to mention again that I’ve only been taking Seroquel for around 2 weeks total.

Seroquel - Making it worse

I had what doctors described as a psychosis episode that would come and go, and it was usually accompanied by me feeling physically sick at the same time, which my psychiatrist thought was unusual.

About two weeks ago I was prescribed 150mg of Seroquel. Since starting it, instead of having episodes that come and go, I have been feeling “telepathic” almost 24/7, along with other side effects like rapid heartbeat, heart fluttering/palpitations, blurry vision, increased hunger, and memory issues.

I can handle most of the physical side effects, but the constant telepathic feeling is what worries me the most because it makes me feel like I am mentally getting worse or losing touch with reality.

Two days ago my dose was increased to 300mg, and since then the telepathic symptoms feel like they have intensified even more.

I wanted to ask if this can be normal early on when starting or increasing Seroquel, or if it could mean the medication is having the opposite effect on me.

Also, are the memory problems and forgetfulness usually temporary side effects, or can they become long term?

BTW not saying that I am telepathic lol it just feels like it
