OINP Workforce Priority Stream: Does It Help If Your Employer (TCS) Won't Use the Employer Portal?"

For employers like TCS and other consulting firms that do not support/participate in the OINP Employer Portal but are only able to provide an HR confirmation letter — would the new Ontario Workforce Priority Stream changes make any difference to this situation, or does the HR-letter-only limitation remain a blocker regardless of the redesign?

recommendation needed- 4/4 criteria approved but denied on fmd

Got approved for LCR, judging, SA, and HS, but was denied on FMD with a template denial notice. Should I refile or appeal? Has anyone been successful with refiling? (industry profile) FAANG

Trying to figure out if I can actually stop working soon

M 40| Came back from North America, settling in tier 2 city | Trying to figure out if I can actually stop working soon

Hi all, Been reading this sub for a while and finally decided to write things down — partly to get feedback, partly just to think it loud.
Spent several years in North America, moved back recently to my hometown tier 2 city. Honestly the move happened before I had a clear FIRE plan — family, roots, lifestyle — the usual reasons. But now that I'm here and settled, I'm starting to realize my situation might actually allow me to stop working sooner than I thought.
The thing is, my current job isn't stressful and the pay is good, so there's no urgency. But there's a natural end point coming for this assignment and I'm thinking — maybe that's the moment to step back and redirect energy toward things that actually matter to me.

Where I stand financially (rough numbers)
Own a 3 BHK flat, fully paid off — that's where I live
10 shops built on a 4,000 sq ft commercial plot in a decent location, all rented out, bringing in about ₹1.5L/month
₹1 Cr in mutual funds and index funds
₹2 Cr cash sitting from a recent property sale — planning to put this into the market over time
₹50 L in gold
₹1 Cr in an overseas stock portfolio from my North America days, just sitting there
Some land parcels in the city worth roughly ₹1 Cr

Full-time job paying about 50 lc/year — continuing

for now until the assignment wraps up

What I'm actually thinking about
The rental comfortably covers a decent lifestyle in a tier 2 city. But honestly the bigger pull toward FIRE for me isn't the money math — it's what comes after.
I want to be more present for my kids while they're still young. That's probably the biggest one. Beyond that, I find myself genuinely wanting to do something useful — not in a vague way, but concretely. Maybe free skill training for kids or young people who can't afford it. Maybe building something small and meaningful at my own pace that contributes something to the country. Nothing grand, just something that feels worthwhile and is fully on my own terms.
I'm not looking for validation, just a honest check from people who've been through this thinking.
A few things I'd love input on:
Does this look like enough to pull the trigger when the assignment ends, or am I missing something obvious?
For those who've FIREd — how did you structure your time, especially when the "purpose" side of retirement is still taking shape?

What do I do with the ₹2 Cr cash — lump sum into index funds or spread it out?

Thx guys !!!
