1993 Ford Ranger 3.0L V6 Insane Oil Leak
Recently changed valve stem seals thought it went well fixed all the issues I was having and then my luck the oil leak I was fixing is now presumably worse. I got 13 miles to the quart of oil before my check oil light came on and I checked the dipstick and it was almost all gone. Is there anything I could have done wrong? I took the valve covers and was trying to check the seals and I saw one got lifted to the keepers on the spring could that have caused that much oil loss? Along with that just to have safe of mind (I don’t wanna do this again I dropped a valve into my cylinder and that was a pain to fix) is this the correct way the seals are supposed to sit on the stem and valve guide?
