this isn't super qce related but i am currently doing ib in qld and im applying to uni through qtac but my parents want me to apply to go interstate too. the thing is that i dont want to go interstate, but they're practically forcing me to and its this whole ordeal and a huge point of contention. how feasible is it to just like ring up universities and ask them to reject me on my applications interstate? like can i do that or?

basically i used to have such nice eyelashes before i started wearing mascara. after two years-ish i realised that i now genuinely, no exaggeration, only have half the lashes i did before. does anyone have any good lash serum reccomendations that wont make it worse (because i;ve heard the maybelline lash serum makes them fall out if you stop using it) and will actually help regrow my lashes? and also a small doubt in my mind - are my eyelashes never going to grow back again because i havent worn mascara (except the occasional false lashes or light mascara for an outing every two months or so) in a year and i havent seen any meaningful changes

genuinely been trying to teach myself everything but the textbook is so poorly organised and its fucking with me. C.4.2.2 and C.4.2.3 are SWTICHED AROUND

So my SEHS teacher is a BIG AI user and he just copy pastes the stuff in the textbook into ChatGPT to make powerpoint slides for class. I don't know why but I haven't been using them, and I've just been teaching myself the content through the textbook and sometimes some extra research about terms since the SEHS textbook is also sort of garbage. Is this a bad idea? Because the resources for SEHS are few and far between but I'm also under the impression that we don't need to know everything in much depth either.

For reference, I live in the Chapel Hill/Kenmore area. Basically I ordered my formal dress and I checked in with the vendor to see when it would be delivered and I was told it already had been TWO DAYS AGO and I had in fact not received it. So I lodged an enquiry with Auspost on Friday and apparently it was delivered somewhere in my suburb and they said they'd investigate it. I'm just really scared that I won't receive it, especially since it's been 5 days since it was delivered, and I'm just praying that the recipients aren't just going to keep it for themselves. What are the chances I get it back?
