Since June 2021, Julia for Boston , Ms. Julia Mejia, has been my mentor and close friend. She has inspired many young people (even with the Black Lives Matter Movement) to know that we are not alone. Thank you for shining your light to so many others right now. This past year, the 2026 @CityOfBoston Annual City Budget, has been of extreme debate, due to a lack of resources being drained from many youth programs and veteran services. Clr. Mejia expressed pain and frustration at every single council meeting due to this. Thank you Ms. Mejia for continuing to fight for the undeserved who do not have a voice.

Her Grace, Princess Diana, didn’t just wear the crown—she used her voice to stand with those the world overlooked, especially during the #HIV/#AIDS crisis.

Because of her courage, conversations changed. #Stigma was challenged. Lives were touched.

As a CNA & community health advocate, I carry that mission forward every day—supporting access to care, education, and compassion for all.
