Complete Newbie to Daggerheart- are martials viable to play as?

Hey everybody! I only found out about this game yesterday but have done a small amount of studying up on it. I'm interested in GMing it myself, and then playing if I can convince any of the other GMs in my circles that it's worth trying for them, too.

One thing I've just gotta know about the game is whether martials are more viable in Daggerheart than they infamously are in a certain other TTRPG. Now, I understand with the setting-based rules of Daggerheart, a GM could simply make martials capable of standing toe-to-toe with spellcasters (I think), but do the universal rules make it so that I could play as warrior thirsting for glory in battle, a knight seeking to use his blade and not much else to vanquish the forces of darkness, or a conniving swashbuckler wishing to rule the high seas with his tricks and trinkets without having to run to the nearest magician whenever things look a little rough?

In that other TTRPG, when I play, I'm usually quite stubborn about the fact that I like playing as fighters and barbarians more often than I play casters (though I do like going out as the occasional bard or wizard) and usually just accept the downsides and hope the DM- I mean GM is nice to me.

Thanks for your time and reading! Have a nice day, y'all! And if you have any tips on building my first martial character in Daggerheart, I'd love to hear them!

If I am employed by but not actually working for my new job before leaving my old one, do I need to consider myself as working at both for Section 2 of my federal W4?

Hey everyone! Technically, today is my first day of being on the books at my new job. My new manager likes to technically start people before they begin working for the sake of getting appropriate clearances. Because I'm not actually working there yet, I'm still at my old job too. That means there will be a small window of time in which I was officially an employee of both jobs, though only one of them would be paying me.

I'm currently filling out my federal W4 and need to know what to do about Section 2. If it's relevant, I also have a third job, though I'm only on call there and shifts are few and far between. One a month at most, and always fewer than 8 hours (whether or not I keep it remains to be seen).

If there's any more info I need to give, please let me know. Thanks in advance for any help and have a nice day!

Missing QGIS Scripts

Wassup everyone. Been forever since I posted in Reddit. (Observe my very teenage username)

I'm doing a sort of volunteer project with QGIS. Long story short: I've started on a Python script for a tool. So far it has very little in it, just two input parameters (the ones with ##) and two variables that take the values of these parameters. I'm away from my computer so I'm recreating it from memory, but it looks like this:

##Layer=vector

##Field=field Layer

##Increment=number 1

layer = Layer

count = Field

That's it. I was trained on Arc and thus I know ArcPy well enough (I'd also say I'm a decent coder, being that I was originally a Computer Science Major), but I don't know PyQGIS and so am probably gonna be testing to see if it works because I steel need to get a feel for how PyQGIS rolls, though I already love that Q has a built in IDE.

Anyway, I can't test to see if this works because when I try to add the script to my Processing Toolbox, it simply doesn't show up. I've tried it with the file stored both in its default location as well as in the folder I'm keeping the project in. The only difference is that when I try to add it from my folder I get a pop-up saying that "Layer" is not defined.

I'm sure this is a common enough error for beginners with Q like myself, but a general search isn't giving me much info to work with. Any help is appreciated.
