The crews on the Sitak and Majestic had the worst deaths imaginable…..

Now hear me out on this one.

I was watching Sacrifice of Angels yesterday and it hit me just what a horrendous way to go it must have been for the crews on the Majestic and particularly the Sitak during the Dominion battle.

A large proportion of the Sitak’s crew was likely incinerated by weapons fire, then blown out into space. As for the survivors? I guarantee they were turned into chunky salsa as it spun out into oblivion (there’s no way inertial dampers were still operating after a hit like that).

As for the Majestic, i reckon at least a quarter of the crew were vaporised and blown into space by phaser and torpedo blast, and I’d put money on the ship colliding with another ship as it went out of control…. Regardless, no one escaped from these two ships
(Not in one piece anyway…)

Need some help with a laptop not detecting my wifi…..

Hi there, I’m hoping someone might be able to help with an odd issue I have with a newly refurbished laptop - a Lenovo IdeaPad 320S-14IKB Core i7-7500U with 8GB RAM 128GB SSD

It’s detecting WiFi signals of other routers, but not mine (a Vodafone Ultra Hub 7). I’ve plugged a USB dongle in & the wifi on the laptop does work.

I’ve updated windows, and also checked the drivers are installed correctly and the latest version, too. They definitely pick up both 2.4ghz and 5ghz signals.

I’ve also split my wifi into normal and compatibility modes… but still no luck at all. I’ve also reset my router and ensured its firmware is up to date. My wifi is working fine, and other devices are connected with no problems at all.

I’ve spoken to both Vodafone and the original retailer of the laptop; both are saying it’s the other’s fault - so I don’t know what to do!

Would anyone have any advice at all? Would be greatly appreciated.

New PCV Valve fubar after 5 months 🤦‍♂️

I replaced the PCV valve on my V60 t6 back in January as a bit of preventative maintenance, and the new part (a Metzger OEM replacement from AUTODOC #2389124) has already failed…..

The state of new car parts in the UK is absolutely abysmal. Question is, do I get another OEM replacement or suck up the cost of getting a genuine one from Volvo?

Do replacement headlights need coding?

I’ve just ordered a replacement headlight for my 2013 v60 T6 as the lense has gone quite crusty. It’s an exact like for like replacement (same part and model number and from a same model & year car) and has xenon’s / self levelling / active bend. Would it simply be plug and play, or is there any coding required?

Apologies if this is a stupid question, but a friend with a newer v60 said he had to code his when he had to replace one.
