I just transferred to a place with no military medical facility nearby and will be on Tricare prime remote. This is my last tour before retirement. Are there any pitfalls I should be aware of early to make sure that everything makes it to my record for review for my VA claim since I'll be seen out in town? Thanks

The last time I PCSd 3 years ago I was told not to put TLE lodging on the GTCC and only put PCS en route lodging on it. I read the latest GTCC PCS guide and it says TLE lodging is authorized.
Question - Is it MANDATORY to put TLE lodging on the GTCC? The guidance is not clear and I would rather use my personal card.
