Hey folks, here the latest iteration of my garage since painting, lights, floor, bike rack, starting to add some decor to the walls etc.

Starting to hit a bit of a wall, I am ordering a new age cabinet set to go where I’m standing in the photo.

Does anyone have any recommendations/ideas for more decor, car themed goodies, stuff like that? Also ideas on maybe some fake foliage? String lights? Looking for some fresh eyes to see what they could see being a good vibe. Thanks!

Please be honest.

I’m very new to this and have just been taking photos in full auto mode to get a feel for the composition and lighting.

Are these on the right track for being framed well?
I think they are pretty boring photos (I like the first one) but I’m trying to figure out things to shoot in a very boring town.

What helped you guys with learning proper exposure, and what kind of modes do most people shoot in?

I’ve been just riding my bike around and doing some point and shoot of things that stick out to me.

Before and after of my single car garage. Still awaiting some new age cabinets for under the shelf and a bike rack, as well as some wall organization for snow shovels, broom, ladder, etc.

In the middle of my 1960s garage renovation, polyaspartic floor is getting done in a couple weeks so in the meantime I’m trying to figure out a lighting layout. My first thought is 2 rows of lights which would end up being 16 feet per run going lengthwise just outside the board that is supporting the garage door opener. I might add some string lights for ambience as well. I’ve read mixed reviews on Barrina fixtures so im curious on better options. (Im in Canada by the way)

Does anyone have any suggestions?
