Support of moderate democrats?

I can't stand Trump and what the GOP party has become, so in a two party system, I'm left with supporting the Democrats. I generally prefer the GOP on fiscal issues, but they have lost their way in recent years.

The progressive wing of the democrat party drives me crazy. I know they mean well, but their lack of understanding of economics is astounding.

Politics is usually the lessor of two evils and the GOP seems way more evil (literally) than the Democrats, so is it time to support them?

At some point, LA will need to fund a massive fix to it's water system. Where will this come from?

The current plan to fix LA's water system sounds hopeless. DWP can only fix a tiny fraction each year as the 80yo lines continue to age and get worse. There are supposedly many breaks everyday, only a few make it into the news.

Realistically, LA is going to have to spend a lot more to fix the water system, probably very soon. Where is this money going to come from?

[Landlord US-CA] tenant in triplex not helping bring trash bins to/from the street

I have three tenants in a triplex (duplex with in-law suite). The trash bins have to be pulled about 30 feet along the same path they take anyway to leave the property.

I used to live in one unit and handled the simple task of bringing the trash bins to/from the street. I moved and the tenants now need to handle it now. The lease states the tenants have to follow house rules that can change.

Two of the tenants are good and help with trash, but one just seems to be a pain and often walks right by the bins and needs to be repeatedly asked to do it.

Any thoughts?

Why are there fewer rentals being listed?

In my area, there used to be rental signs and online listings everywhere. Now there are only a few. I've also noticed that many duplexes are being converted to single family homes. Are people simply not wanting to be landlords anymore?

Are there some parts of LA on the westside with more rentals other than large apartment buildings?

Two days outage of Fios and still nothing on website and call lines not answering

It's been two days that Fios is out for my entire neighborhood. The outage website only says "possible" interruption after two days. Calling customer support is a joke. Waited for two hours and then hung up on me. Called again the next day and same
