Okay back again with another hologramified 90s card.

I had a special request from fellow card enthusiast SuperUnic0rn to apply my talents to the X-Men series 1 Jubilee.

Couple things of note: This is a prototype (first iteration) so the card is my poor quality double, so you'll see some rough corners and discoloration on the back. Turns out I had very few copies of this card and wanted to test it out before applying to my primary one.

I am planning on doing a giveaway! I have a bunch of prototypes (this one included) and wanted to gauge interest. Also, I was thinking of doing a nice quality giveaway maybe once a month. I just really enjoy making these and want to spread the joy. Let me know your thoughts!

Been seeing a lot of really cool cards with slash effects, so I went on a tangent from my main project to try out a new style!

Two versions in this video:

1. Foil slash cut with holo backing

Next up: Doing a glow-in-the-dark version!

Also switched up my display to make it consistent and easier to see.

Another one finished! I included a variation at the end to compare against, curious which ones you all like better.

Not completely sold on the base holographic pattern, but it definitely resembles Havok's power.

Finished a new card in my project to add holographic overlays onto my Marvel universe series 3 cards. I am creating a unique theme for each character, so they'll all be different. I have several variations of Wolverine so if you'd like to see them let me know.

Once all of them are done I'm going to mount and frame the heroes and villians in separate frames.

Heya everyone, I am still knee deep in the bedazzlication of my childhood Marvel Universe cards. I posted my original process as a video recently.

I am working to make all the hero cards into pseudo holograms to frame for my wall.

I've been trying to make each one unique to the card by scanning the card, using photoshop to draw vector elements, export the SVGs, and then cut the vinyl with my cricut, etc etc (ergo, vis a vis, concordantly)

The result is comprised of several holographic layers. The base pattern, the accentuated powers, and usually a standout background element.

For Jean Grey, you can see her telepathic powers around her head and background sun have unique holographic overlays on top of a different background pattern.

I am on the fence on whether it turned out decent.

I could use some feedback from anyone who is interested!

Always loved holograms as a kid! Been working on adding holographic overlays to my card collection to jazz them up. I'm going to mount them in a giant frame for display!
