The City Rail Link might be opening sooner than you think
Apparently, off the record conversations are getting bullish about August.
City Rail Link opening: ‘The budget for champagne is nil’
>Auckland Transport has not given a final date for all testing to be wrapped up, but told Newsroom on Wednesday morning that the opening “will not be in July.”
It looks like August will be the earliest it will open, but it wouldn't surprise me if August is already out.

See here, for more information on Ballmaxxing. I can't in good conscience recommend this procedure but I can recommend a doctor who can.
Fires, unruly passengers and prams play part in lengthy CRL testing
rnz.co.nzHi All,
I had my Durango A1 stolen on Monday (sucks big time). Anyway, the insurance company wants me to provide a suggestion for a like for like equivalent. I just got back from the bike shop and they said a Merida Big.Nine 20 was the nearest equivalent.
The bike will mainly be used around town with the occasional trip to some moderate trails. Nothing crazy.
Would you accept that as a similar replacement?
This is in New Zealand, BTW.
Cheers,
A bit more information about the new map that was posted here.
Guy complaining about the name City Rail Link, saying it's uninspiring and we should call it something else. He seems to miss the point that City Rail Link is the name of the project. Once it is operational, it will just be another part of network, like any other section of the system.
