How to make alternative friends in Philly?
Heyo! I am 24 and currently struggling to find people with similar interests. Unfortunately I was not able to make many friends in high school and college since I was quite a shy person, and as I approach my mid 20s I refuse to let more years wither away. As an autistic person, it's been difficult to make many meaningful friendships. Unfortunately, I have not really met many people with similar interests as mine either..
There are so many fun things I would love to do and events I want to go to, but I have nobody to go with.
I'm a baby bat and only recently began to experiment with gothic fashion (I've always loved the music, clothes and history), and would love to learn from other people
I adore going to cafes, libraries, having tea parties and picnics, thrift shopping and going to cool antique shops, visiting beautiful gardens, exploring cool little towns, and festivals! I also really enjoy walking down nature trails, or really just going on walks in general.
I enjoy cosplay and fashion so much, and there's so many events I want to go to but I have nobody I can ask 🥲(Comic con/Anime conventions, Ren Faires, Drag Shows, Ballrooms, etc)
I'm also queer.
