Really appreciate all the work put into BEX, spent hundreds of hours in it at this point, but I'm in a headspace where I just want to play with the vanilla Marauder Called Shot cheese, overpowered LRMs, etc. All I really care about is the expanded map, timeline, and CAB. How would I go about modding the game to get the BEX additions without the rebalancing?

New player to the game after grabbing some summer discount DLC. My favorite playstyle no matter the game is high defense, slow n' steady. (E.g. dwarves in Total Warhammer, heavy armor str. builds in Souls-likes, etc.) It looks like the Annihilator will be my end-game, but what mechs should I keep an eye out for on my way there?
