Helldrip part 2 with tactics and loadout

PH-56 Jaguar

Weapon: liberator carbine
Secondary: ultimatum
Grenade: thermite

Strats: 500kg Eagle, Gatling turret or supply frv, MG-43 Machine Gun, guard dog or warp pack

Built for og squids and now used for appropriators. Basically you are a bullet monk. MOAR DHAKKA isn’t something you say it is your identity. You should be primarily using the machine gun at the highest rpm and feathering to to pin point target enemies, particularly tripod leg joints. This can take out stingrays. Only thing it can’t do is take out leviathans. You should be medium to close range but can take out long range. The carbine is a “my machine gun needs reloading and there’s more killing to be done”. Carbine the intruders and small things machine gun the big things and bring bullet flavored justice to the hentai squids. This benefits from scavenging pois and is lit in cities and urban centers due to how much ammo there is. I use the warp pack/ supply frv version now but a gatling/guard dog variant is great too. Especially cus guard dog can protect while you reload and pick of sneaky things. As a tip turn off guard dog if you want to ambush as it will just attack. You can do this with the same button as a resupply pack. Use FRV to keep you and the team locked and loaded and earn some creds driving for SUPR. Remember, if you don’t get 5 stars for the ride you get sent to dissident camp.

RE-2310 Honorary Guard (I know not drip but one of my favorite loadouts)

A MELEE BUILD FOR BOTS AND BUGS ALIKE!

Weapon: slugger (bugs) or stoker (bots)
Secondary: grenade pistol (bugs) or missile pistol (bots)
Grenade: giga grenade (bugs) or dynamite (bots)

Strats: 500kg Eagle, rail cannon strike (bugs)/ strafing run (bots),  ballistic shield, THE ONE TRUE FLAG

(Bugs) slugger smg: low damage but you are going for accuracy and crowd control. Great to protect a friend who is being chased by stunning the attackers then running up and flagging them in the face. Use in third person because aiming down sights with shield sucks. grenade pistol: close bug holes or damage small groups. Grenade: giga granade: mostly for chargers or bile titans. Can be used on groups or to close holes. rain cannon strike: for bile titans, 500 kg eagle: for giant bug holes and destroying small to medium bug holes or big targets. flag: your main go to. It stuns but you have to be strategic. Stab anything that isn’t a charger or above (for bike spewers or giant orange bug booty bugs stab in face so they don’t explode). It wall draw aggro but you stab things in the face. Ever wanted to melee a stalker to death? Flag it. Flag all the things. ballistic shield: this keeps you alive allows you to be more strategic. Use with smg to cover for allies. Use with flag to block attacks. Heart of the build along with flag. You can survive a lot. Part of the fun is seeing what you can survive.

The goal here is crowd control and melee. You protect people by stunning enemies and give breathing room by drawing aggro or shielding your friends. You have answers to big things that you unfortunately cannot flag but you have to be smart and skilled with them. This favors a smart agressive approach and awareness of surroundings. With melee you have to read when things attack and be accurate and aim for head. You will eventually be able to quickly prioritize what’s attacking next and stop it or defend. The shield protects the front but not the side or back so you have to be very aware of your surroundings. Don’t forget you can fire a smg while running away to kite things. The one thing is not to get surrounded. Sometimes diving forward and stimming to escape getting boxed in is good. Other times you will be back against the wall out of ammo and facing three hive commanders and need to juggle them. This is dynamic skill intensive and very fun and satisfying.

(Bots) stoker needs to land on face of decorators. Can hit other things in weak points. Hits hard and works with shield. Use flame for mechs or to tickle factory strider tummies (yes you will be in close range live dangerously). Flamethrower on stoker works for mortars and also anti air emplacements.  Flag works great on everything but hulks and above. I would flag if I could but you have other tools for that! Still satisfying to flag berserkers. Missile pistol for gunships or hulks but mostly to snipe fabs of any size. Dynamite to kill fabs. 500kg for big targets and strafe for groups. For this build on bots you have to be aware of how these things fire, how to dodge and how to get close. It is dynamic and dangerous but so much fun.

I highly recommend both.

RS-40 Beast of Prey

Weapon: liberator carbine
Secondary: ultimatum
Grenade: thermite

Strats: rail cannon strike, Gatling turret, personal shield, chainsaw.

For squids. You will rip. You will tear. You will probably die. No way an optimized build but fun especially when you get it working. Mainly use chainsaw. Remember to plan for the fist swing and second. Mastering this rhythm is key. And you will need stills but golly it’s fun to chop the hentai squids into sushi. Rail cannon for tripods though you can chainsaw them. Gatling for crowd control. Ultimatum and thermite for ships. Personal shield to maybe last a little longer. Helmet chosen because you are a democratic samurai.

Helldrip and loadout/tactic info part 1

Hey All,

Seen the drip and love it. Wanted to share my own mixes and share the tactics and fronts I use these on. Hope the help or mix up your playstyle. I take all these on D10.

Best,

Your Super Fren

DS-191 Scorpion

Weapon: coyote or sweeper
Secondary: ultimatum
Grenade: gas grenade

Strats: 500kg Eagle, napalm barrage or supply frv, grenade launcher, supply backpack

This is primarily used on the bug front to counter burrowing strain but can be used on others. Grenade launcher to clear chaff and main to eliminate stragglers or things that get too close. 500 for big guys giant bug holes or breaches. Napalm for breaches but I like the supply more now. Ultimatum for chargers and big things. Gas for holes or when retreating to cover tracks and give space. This is about medium distance and area denial chaff clear. Ammo intensive so ammo backpack. Supply your friends if you take the ammo frv cus it extends the backpack use. Sub in a rail cannon strike instead of supply frv/napalm barrage if dragon roaches around.

RS-6 Fiend Destroyer

Weapon: pummler
Secondary: saber
Grenade: thermite

Strats: rail cannon strike, supply frv or Gatling, ballistic shield, hammer.

Used on the squid front on all but the appropriators. You are a melee machine and your goal is to murder the enemies of democracy face to face. Saber for chaff or squid, hammer for squid or fleshmob. Or tripod. Or ships. Really anything. Remember the hentai squids deserve the bonk hammer of justice and must be sent to super horny jail. It’s your patriotic duty. Slugger can stun and crowd control. With with shield you can guard friends and be tank. Pull out saber once ammo is gone. Slugger doesn’t have too much so you are relying on melee most. Thermites for ships. Rail cannon for tripods or ships. Only enemy you can’t deal with is the stingray so… just dodge those. Super fun and dynamic.

DP-8 Mountain Scaled

Weapon: one-two, or liberator, or tenderizer
Secondary: ultimatum
Grenade: dynamite

Strats: 500kg Eagle, strafing run, railgun, personal force field backpack

Bot front destroyer. You are a skilled railgun operator and must have precision aim and the experience to not explode yourself with the railgun in unsafe. In exchange you decimate everything but a factory strider. Destroyers, hulks, and the rest are easy pickings. Mechs fall when you shoot them in the eye. You are operating at long distances and use your primary when smaller targets get close or there is nothing else to railgun. You take out anti air and mortars from across the map. Any instillation you face usually falls as you use dynamite or strafing runs to eliminate replicators. The shield is to protect you but also gives you a millisecond to line up shots in heavy fire. Dynamite and ult for bio processors 500kg for towers and big enemies. If a strider appears you shoot off its face guns. It takes alot of pressure off and allows the team to swiftly take it out. You are delivering the verdict of democratic justice to the commie bots and the sentence is death.

I-09 Heatseaker (both fits)

Weapon: crossbow
Secondary: laser pistol
Grenade: thermite

Strats: 500kg Eagle, napalm barrage, personal force field backpack, flamethrower

Bug front. Works against most but not burrowing too well. Sub in an orbital strike instead of barrage if there are dragon roaches. Burn everything. Shield to be less squishy when in close and using fire. You control crowds and funnel things into a kill zone. Laser pistol for shreikers or smaller things, crossbow for holes or groups or if you need to retreat and fire behind you. This benefits if you can use the xbow without aiming. Takes practice. Flamethrower can take out bile titans or any of the big boys. Even shreiker nests or spore spires. You need to advance and retreat depending on what is happening as you are squishy but you have the stamina for it and fire is fren. 500 kg for big bug holes or medium nests or enemies barrage for breaches. Go out and make toast out of the fascist bugs.

B-08 Light Gunner

Weapon: pummler
Secondary: grenade pistol
Grenade: thermite

Strats: 500kg Eagle, napalm barrage, warp backpack, epoch.

You are speed. You blitzkreig. You send a 500 in epoch a big threat and blast the small stuff. You warp through enemies and keep going hitting holes and targets. This is about positioning and target priority as you make the chaff chase you until you deal with it. You can travel fast and hit poi’s or objectives that help your crew. In mega nests you make attack runs going through the nest out the other side repositioning and then doing it again. You should be elusive. Warp away or make space if you need to reload the epoch.

O-2 Heavy Operator

(Illuminate loadout)
Weapon: pummler
Secondary: machete
Grenade: thermite

Strats: rail cannon strike, Gatling sentry or supply frv, hammer, shield.

Essentially the same as the fiend destroyer loadout but a little different cosmetically. Machete doesn’t slice and dice as fast but it is fun. Optimized would be the shock lance but I like the challenge.

(Cyborg loadout)

Weapon: knight or gallant or trident
Secondary: ultimatum
Grenade: dynamite

Strats: 500kg Eagle, Eagle strafe, epoch, supply backpack

Meant to keep you alive and a little quick. Originally used this with the FS-23 Battle Master on cyberstan. Can do D10 cyberstan without deaths or with minimal death. You are a tank you clear chaff. The knight or gallant eat ammo but eliminate cyborgs and chaff. Destroyers require aim and precision but it’s doable. Epoch for groups or big things or objectives. Supply backpack to feed smg but mostly to give you the stims you need to run and survive vox engines. Also feed your ultimatum to eliminate engines. Use dynamite for fabs they can be thrown pretty far and once they land you can move onto next target. This slows their response as you have two or three fabs that are gonna blow before they notice anything. Supply your friends with ammo and never leave an ammo drop dry if you all are moving on. You are heavy support. And you support with extreme prejudice.

DS-42 Federation’s Blade

Weapons: Coyote
Secondary: ultimatum
Grenade: gas grenade

Strats: eagle strafing run, emancipator exosuit, grenade launcher, supply backpack

This is meant for hive worlds. Developed this when we went to omicron first time and seems to work (though used different cape). You are mainly in the exosuit. You need disciple and control and not to waste ammo. Single tap and pilot around and only kill what you must. Traipse through nests single tapping holes. Or picking apart enemies one blast at a time. This saves the ammo of the suit and is critical. I used this first when you only got two call downs. Out of suit you operate like the scorpion. Eliminating chaff from a distance and quickly dispatching heavies with an ultimatum dive. Gas grenades work great in the tunnels when you need to retreat to save ammo and the tunnels channel enemies allowing for efficient use of the grenade launcher. This is also meant to fight overlords. Strafing run can be replaced with whatever you think works well. Use the mech and ultimatum to strip belly armor and open fire. Requires teamwork. Use the mech to fight dragon roaches or slot in a rail cannon strike. Go make bug juice the children of super earth and the fleet of managed democracy or both thirsting for their blood.

CPR-80 Bulwark

(Cyborg loadout)

Weapon: knight or gallant or trident
Secondary: ultimatum
Grenade: dynamite

Strats: 500kg Eagle, Eagle strafe, epoch, supply backpack

Same as the O-2 oxygenater. Just tanker against explosions.

(Rapid acquisition bot missions)

Weapon: double freedom or sweeper
Secondary: ultimatum
Grenade: giga grenade

Strats: smoke strike, eagle smoke strike, hammer, personal shield

You are tanky and can shield yourself. Provide cover with smike and just keep blasting and getting platinum. Use ultimatum or hammer for big guys. You will be hammering hulks. Just survive and take things out but stay focused on the platinum and use alternating smoke strike and eagle strike to make the path covered and safe to extract platinum.

PH-202 Twigsnapper

(Defence missions)

Weapon: dominator (bots), flamer(bugs), liberator carbine (squid)
Secondary: ultimatum (bots and bugs), loyalist (squid)
Grenade: giga grenade (bots), gas grenade (bugs and squid)

Strats: Fire mines, gas mines, maxigun (squid) or belt fed grenade launcher (bugs bots or squid) or heavy flamer (bugs), tank.

You are heavy and you are going to hit heavy. You are mainly using tank. Position it first thing. As far back as you can, if fighting bots or squids, so that you have the broadest field of view possible. For squids machine gun and then blow up ships. Generally you will only hit every other ship that spawns because of reload. For bots just hit ships save machine gun for enemies. If you have two tanks bots and squids cannot even land but with one you cut down on so much of their forces. Generally the tank will dry up at 6/8. That’s fine. By this point you have stored ammo and are holding the line and have more supplies than you know what to do with. Use the heavy weapon you brought to take down anyone who still thinks they have a chance. Whenever possible throw mines out and resupply whenever possible.

Dear Scotland, Boston Loves You

Bostonian here. I just wanted to say it was cool having you guys around. You sure are a whole hell of a lot of fun. Gonna have to check out your shores. Please come back anytime. You all are treasures.

Had a great time hanging around with you all in downtown Boston. Was cool seeing the shananigans. I especially liked seeing some of you throw tea into the harbor at the tea party museum.

Was just a really positive experience drinking and meeting you all.

Databasing Australian Ants from collected around. Question about a place name: Argadargada

Hello Aussies,

I am databasing ants from remote locations all across all the territories. I came across one that I thought was an amusing name and wanted to know if anyone knew anything about it. Gemini says it’s a remote cattle station but I wanted to see if you all knew anything about it.

Argadargada is a tongue twister and I was wondering if it had meaning either culturally or historically or if there was a fun cool story attached to it.

Anyways, thanks for a look and hope a good sandwich finds you. Really appreciate your ant species. Myrmecia are some of the coolest.

Ant species: Calomyrmex (metallic ants that live in the center of the country in dry arid regions. Usually either metallic green or purple. Very pretty. Pic for you guys. And a link to any wiki if you want to learn more about them https://www.antwiki.org/wiki/Calomyrmex)

Label on the pin:
“Australia N.T.: 30mi. E Argadargada 160m. 1-XI-1962
