I’ve been going on facebook market place and finding people scalping Pokemon and I message them saying I will pay extra for them to drive somewhere that’s relatively out of the way for them and then I never show up, they wanna scam so I’m gonna scam them back

Im scrolling through this sub and 90% of posts on front page is singnature pulls and the "what should I do??" posts. All of these low effort signature and T1 serial post should be deleted and put all into 1 weekly pull megathread like in the one puece sub reddit.
It wasn't always like this here.
If you posted a T1 or signature post in the past months, respectfully fuck you and your pull. NO ONE GIVES A SHITZU.

Edit: to add 1 last point. Mods should be actively filtering out and deleting overnumber posts, booster box posts, all pulls that are MID that we seen thousands of times. For example, theres 9 "i pulled a good card" posts on 1st page right now. ONLY THE 69 SERIAL MF SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO EXIST. EVEN THAT POST SHOULD HAVE A MOD COMMENTING "we usually dont allow these kind of low effort posts, but making an exception here". its really common sensical and its beyond me why a tcg subreddit 4 sets in havent implemented this.

Cardboard has NEVER gone down in value historically speaking, source is trust ME, and this game now has the T1 name attached which means Korea AND China are about to flood in and BIGGLIER THAN EVER. Riot themselves can't keep supply on the shelves. That's SCARCITY BY DESIGN and design means DEMAND and DEMAND means UP.

As a TCG develops there are certain understandings that occur within game. Cards can't be mana positive in MTG. Card draw in Yu-gi-oh needs to have a million stipulations. You can't play a supporter going first in Pokemon (this is an actual rule). I think what will come to be one of Riftbounds is that the players shouldn't be able to score on the very first turn. The idea that an opponent can get a point before you've even channelled a rune is nuts. The fact that the card gives a second sprite on the next turn is also absurd, because the only way to stop an opponent from scoring that second point is to essentially skip your first turn, hold up runes for a removal assuming your opponent doesn't have an counterspell. It's not a "let the meta try and find an answer" card, it's like if MTG decided to print literal Pot of Greed into their next set. It needs an emergency ban.
I've spent hours sourcing, cleaning, and hand sorting these. Each one has been carefully selected for weight, feel, and visual clarity while playing.

I've been up 19 hours straight grinding Rust. Raided a guys base at 4am, got his whole loot room, then had to log off because my mom needed the basement outlet for the vacuum and wouldn't shut up about it.
Anyways, got to looking at some Riftbound cards after to unwind and there's immediately soooo many words. "Reaction" "Assault 2" "Cat" BRO... I just wanted to relax. I have been reading chat callouts and death messages for 19 STRAIGHT HOURS I am not doing more reading for a CHILDREN'S CARD GAME. Not exaggerating when I say my eyes physically will not focus on words anymore today.
Why is there no all-picture format? That would be way more popular than whatever they are wasting their time on right now. I'm pretty tired of having to look at all of these words and I'd rather just put the cards down on the table and win the game.
Anyways, is this something Rito has considered yet?
I want to start by saying I am not a bad person. I am tired of the hate that people have been throwing around in recent days. I had 10 accepted orders in for the T1 2025 Worlds Champion Signature Edition Bundle. Riot refunded all of them this morning and I think that's genuinely unfair to me as a small business owner.
I am not scalping, I am providing a service. Somehow these boxes needed to get from Riot down to the common chud at their personal address. That somebody was going to be me. And now it's going to be nobody, or worse, some other guy, and that guy doesn't even need the money like I do.
I had a plan for this money!! I was going to use some of it to finally move out of my mom's basement. My Rust clan is tired of hearing her being a bitch in the background at 3am when we are in the middle of a raid. I've been through hell here and I really need a better space for my gaming career.
Instead I now have nothing again because Riot refunded me. My mom asked me again this morning when I'm moving out. I don't have an answer for her right now and setbacks like this are really screwing things up for me.
Some of these cases are already listed for $10,000+. I want everyone in this community to think about that number and then think about me.
Anyways, have some respect for scalpers because we are people too.

This will help promote the middling-popularity children's card game called Riftbound. To prevent too much hate, comments will be disabled and it will not be pinned.
In exchange, the entire mod team and VIP sub contributors such as u/SethCremmul will be provided Premium Competitor Badges, flights, and accommodations to RQ Los Angeles. The top 10% of posters and commenters should also be provided Spectator Badges.

We understand the card is upsetting. We understand it needs to be banned. Everyone has understood this since Origins. AND WE'VE PUT UP WITH IT LONG ENOUGH!
Effective now, all Dazzling Aurora content must be contained to the pinned megathread. The OP of any new standalone Aurora post will be sent a strongly worded message that what they are doing is NOT OKAY.
This moratorium will be lifted once the card is banned, so definitely soon.

We all know it. This card is going to be even more busted using Jayce. Dazzling Aurora is absolutely OP and needs to be banned ASAP so we don't have to deal with it. This card will completely ruin the game and there won't be any players left if it sticks around.

We've also noticed some new faces lately at our locals and honestly we think it's time someone said something because clearly nobody has.
We talk during games, like A LOT. As my boy Claude loves to repeat during his slop code reviews, "This is not a bug this is a FEATURE". If you take more than 12 seconds on a decision one of us WILL say "yep yep yep take your time king" and you need to understand that this is LOVE AND RESPECT. This is how Nickozz showed love back when he actually showed up. Nickozz is dead to us now (actually please come back Nickozz) but the tradition lives on.
We also count your shuffles out loud and in unison. If you go over 7 riffles someone is going to start a slow clap and you need to be ready for that emotionally BEFORE it happens, not during. If you hit 10 riffles, you need to shotgun a Monster energy out back to atone for your sins.
If you make a suboptimal play, we will tell you what you SHOULD have done in real time, at full volume, sometimes standing up to get a better view of the board so we can explain it properly. This is not us being rude this is FREE COACHING and you should be thanking us honestly. If Jarvis doesn't sit down and stands over the board for the rest of the game instead of going back to playing Genshin Impact, it's totally normal so chill out about it.
One of our regulars, Big Tony, has not lost a set as Lux since May and he will remind you of this constantly, mid-turn, unprompted, in the third person ("Big Tony doesn't miss"). When he wipes the board with his 3rd back-to-back-to-back Ruination, you're expected to say, "Thank you".
We know it's a lot... We know. But once you get used to it you will realize this is the most welcoming community in the children's card game space and anyone who says otherwise just needs thicker skin.

After extensive deliberation (I think), the mod team has decided that human generated content is simply not meeting the standard this community deserves.
We watched a genuine masterpiece get #1 on the main sub with hundreds of upvotes only for it to be deleted a day later because it wasn't made by a person....... This was the wake up call we needed and THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN. You little piggies want that yummy yummy AI slop but you just don't know it yet.
We need to go the same route that Rito has been going for it's balancing decisions - AI hallucinations. Going forward, all posts should be AI generated. Human effort has had its chance. It is time to let the machines cook (and gobble up all that water babyyy).
