2 rooms available in LIC 3bd/1bath
Hi all! There are two rooms opening up in our 3bd/1bath in Long Island City for July 1st year-long lease renewal. Apartment is located by Queens Plaza and Queensboro Plaza. E,F,R,7,N,W trains all within 3-6 minute walk. G train within a 10 minute walk. Commutes are super easy!
Pictures 1-9 are the bigger room for $1375. It fits a queen size bed, desk, and dresser very comfortably—don’t let photos fool you! Includes a large closet and fire escape.
Pictures 10-11 are the smaller room for $1000. It can fit a full size bed and desk.
Looking for either two roomies or 1 roomie who splits the $1000 room with me as spare bedroom/office ($500/pp)
You would be sharing an apartment with my partner (30 any pronouns who works in branding and content) and me (28 they/them event producer and musician). We love to chat, cook, and are clean and quiet. We enjoy friendly relationships with roommates, but also are respectful of privacy.
Must make 40x the rent or have a guarantor who makes 80x (landlord doesn’t accept companies), as well as have a good credit score. The landlord has unfortunately been less accepting for those with freelance income situations. Security deposit is one month’s rent and there’s no application fee. Cats welcome, we love them :)
Some other details:
-W/D in building ($1.50-1.75 per wash and per dry which is hard to beat)
-only utilities you pay are electric and internet. Our bills per person have been around $50 each month, we anticipate they’ll go up as it gets hotter due to AC use
-2 minute walk to large City Acres, 15 minute walk to Trader Joe’s
-We’re on the top floor! Keep in mind the apartment is fifth floor walkup
