[Lease Takeover] $2,400 / 1 BR + Private Bathroom in a two-bedroom unit in Williamsburg/East Williamsburg [In-Unit Washer/Dryer + Dishwasher]

Good afternoon friends:

Unfortunately, I have to move out of the city somewhat unexpectedly so I'm looking to transfer my lease for 1 BR within a two-bedroom unit that's right by the Grand St. L-train stop in Williamsburg. My bedroom goes for $2,400 (my roommate pays slightly more because his bathroom is en suite).

It's a lovely apartment. Video attached is how it was furnished by the prior tenants. It's a bit cluttered now with my moving/packing so I didn't want to film that. Obviously that'll all be cleaned up by move-in.

You'd be living with a really nice guy in his mid-20s who mainly keeps to himself and works from his Manhattan office five days a week. The two bedrooms and bathrooms are on opposite ends of the unit, so everyone has their own bathroom and maximum privacy. Because he is staying, the apartment common areas will remain mostly furnished (most of the furnishings are his), so you really only have to furnish your own room.

The apartment has an in-unit washer + dryer and a dishwasher. It is also right across the street from Whole Foods and steps away from numerous bars/restaurants/etc. on Grant St. and Metropolitan Ave. a few blocks away.

If you'd like a tour please let me know. Have to have good credit and make 40x the rent (or have a guarantor who makes 80x).

The lease transfer will be ready for an October 1 move-in date. However, I may be flexible with this date and it's possible you'll be able to move in one to two weeks earlier (I won't charge any extra rent).

Please shoot me a message telling me a little bit about yourself if you're interested!

Astoria West Waterfront 1BR – Lease Takeover Available 10/1

Looking for a lease takeover for a one-bedroom apartment at Astoria West, a newly built apartment complex located on the Astoria waterfront in Queens.

Available starting October 1. My current lease runs through mid-April 2027.

Rent is $3,580/month, plus a mandatory $200 community and amenities fee, as well as utilities. Some negotiation may be possible if you take over the lease.

The apartment has an in-unit washer and dryer and is in a building completed in 2022. I have been the first and only resident of the unit. It is north-facing and quite spacious for a one-bedroom, around 700 sqft.

The building is right on the waterfront and has great amenities, including a gym, rooftop, lounges, co-working spaces, and more. The swimming pool is not included in the standard amenities fee and requires a separate fee.

A few pieces of furniture may also be available if interested.
A deposit may be required depending on the lease takeover arrangement and management’s requirements.

If you’re interested or would like additional photos, please send me a message.

Lease Takeover – East Village, Manhattan – $2,174.09 (rent stabilized Studio) – September 1st move-in.

Hey friends! I have a studio available for Sept 1st move in that is rent stabilized (Dec1st lease date, owner is willing to sign a new lease/immediately extend, and it’s after Mamdani’s deadline so there will be no rent increases for the next 2 years 😅)

It’s an average size (not the true shoeboxes that NYC is known for), with a big bathroom and in the southwest corner of the east village (so trains are a quick walk). Super isn’t a live in, but he’s been fantastic, and my neighbors are all wonderfully friendly.

A/C unit is included, it is not street facing, so I never had any sound issues, but it does only have a small fridge, no W/D in building or unit (but wash and fold next door), and *no closet*. I bought a clothing rack which served me fine, but those are the only real drawbacks IMO.

I have a video and will be taking photos tomorrow night, but wanted to post this early as my company has enacted RTO with a very rapid deadline.

Feel free to comment, chat or message me! I was very lucky to land such a deal when I moved here, and I hope someone else can enjoy it as much as I did.

*Edit: I’m happy giving tours too as long as you give me ample notice!

Lease Takeover – Greenpoint, Brooklyn – $1,233/month – Oct. 1

Looking for third roommate to join our lease in Greenpoint!

Hi! My roommate, myself, and our well-behaved cat are looking for someone interested in joining for onto the lease for our second year at our three bedroom in Greenpoint, Brooklyn!

Looking for one person to take the room in the first few photos/video. We would share the common areas (living room, kitchen, bathroom). All common spaces come fully furnished and we have plenty of kitchen supplies we share (coffee machines, air fryer, pots/pans, silverware, etc). Our current roommate may be interested in selling his things if someone wants them. The room can easily fit a full bed, a desk, and more (my room is the same size and they all fit nicely).

Rent is $1233/month ($3700 split 3 ways)
Utilities typically work out to be between $50 and $100 a person depending on the month.

12 month lease, October 1 start.

Built in AC units in every room, plus washer/dryer in building. Third floor walk up (the top floor, so we have high ceilings and a nice skylight). We also have a small balcony accessible from my bedroom that is free for anybody to use. We’re attempting to grow some herbs on it and are thinking of getting a small grill.

Rent is cheap for such a fantastic neighborhood and we love the apartment. My roommate and I hangout often, so would love to have someone we could hangout with. We’re both into fitness, nerdy stuff, and have friends/significant others over sometimes but always ask for permission first. It would be awesome to have someone who’s down to make new friends. Men in early/mid 20s preferred, but we are flexible. LGBTQ+ friendly and 420 friendly too.

G Train is super close, about a 5/10 min walk to the Greenpoint Ave station. The Pulaski Bridge is right near us, so I take the 7 to work and can get to the Vernon Blvd-Jackson Ave stop in 15/20 mins. There are also multiple bus options with a bus stop on our block.

If interested, PM me here and I can share more details/photos or set up a time to see the apartment.
