Hi everyone! I’m looking for someone to take over the remainder of my lease at Aurora LIC (29-11 Queens Plaza N) in Long Island City around October 15th though start date is flexible.
The basics:
🏠 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom, ~600 sq. ft.
📍 Aurora LIC, 29-11 Queens Plaza N
🏙️ 17th floor, Queens-facing end unit
💰 Rent: $3,805.05/month
🔐 Security deposit: $3,805.05
📅 Lease ends: April 30, 2027
🚆 <500 ft from Queens Plaza E/M/R and a few minutes from Queensboro Plaza N/W/7
I’m moving out of NYC, otherwise I genuinely would have stayed. After 8 years of living in New York, this is the first apartment I really loved enough to renew my lease, and I’m sad to give it up.
ABOUT THE APARTMENT 🏠
The unit has a really functional layout with plenty of natural light. It’s an end unit, which I’ve especially liked. Some highlights:
• ~600 sq. ft. 1BR
• Modern kitchen with lots of storage, including a massive pantry
• Dishwasher
• Hardwood floors
• Central heat/AC that you control
• Great natural light
• Concrete building with very good noise insulation between apartments
LOCATION + TRANSPORTATION 🚆
This has probably been my favorite part of living here.
Queens Plaza: E / M / R
Queensboro Plaza: 7 / N / W
Getting to Midtown is incredibly easy. I used to commute to Hudson Yards and found it very convenient. The G is also one stop away for getting to Greenpoint and Williamsburg.
You’re also well positioned for Astoria, Jackson Heights, and Flushing if, like me, access to great food is important.
BUILDING AMENITIES 🌇
• 24/7 doorman/concierge
• Rooftop gym
• Large resident lounge
• Fantastic rooftop with grills and skyline views of Manhattan
• Package room
• Bike room
• Laundry room two floors below the apartment with recently installed washers/dryers. I very rarely have to wait for a machine.
• The doormen and building staff are genuinely wonderful and have been one of my favorite things about living here.
I’ve also hosted quite a few gatherings on the rooftop, and it’s an awesome space during the warmer months.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD 🏘️
LIC gives you a nice combination of easy Manhattan access and a little more breathing room. There are lots of restaurants, cafés and bubble tea spots nearby, multiple waterfront parks, and plenty of pickleball courts if that’s your thing.
