Acoustic treatment

Hello all, I’m new to the world of acoustic treatment and was wondering how I could achieve a lower noise floor and audial reflections making its way back into my mic (Rode NT1). My living space has thin walls, a concrete ceiling, and carpeted flooring. I plan to setup a rug or two as well as some tapestries. I need some recommendations of some good acoustic panels or something else like that to block out noise as well as prevent my vocals from bleeding out past the thin walls as I do some vocal tracking and I have roommates who don’t wanna hear me lol. Anything helps thanks

Vocal production

Hey everyone, I was super interested in learning how brakence uses abeltons OTT to achieve his heavily compressed vocals. I’m quite new to OTT and find that it squashes my vocals a little too much. I really like how upfront brakence vocals are, but I can seem to make out how I need to adjust the OTT settings.

Looking for two more roommates at the Letterman Chicago

Hello, me and my friend are currently looking for two other roommates to live with in a 4 bed 2 bathroom apartment at the Letterman Chicago. A little bit about me: I am a 20 years old rising junior at UIC studying music. In my free time I like to skate, make music, play video games and rock climb. I consider myself a rather relaxed and quiet person who keeps to himself. I’m pretty neat so y’all don’t have to worry about me not making a common area dirty. I’m usually in my room or in class anyways. Im very open to meeting new people and making friends as well. I can be loud at times though since I make music so you can definitely expect to hear me producing or singing unfortunately sorry! Other than that though I’m really quiet unless I’m playing video games. As for my roommate, he’s pretty much the same as me. Except he plays video games more frequently.
