Was there not a third choice for Alexander?

I've been playing through bioshock 2 for my friend and I've gotten to this point in the game. I swear back in the day when you got to the choice of killing or sparing Alexander, Sinclair would come on the radio and tell you that you could do an alternate thing of killing him that was more painful and that would give you a bunch of Adam. I can't find this option in game and googling it doesn't seem to find anything.

Can I suspend/save my own run, then join my friend on his run and still have my run saved?

I decided to try the game this morning just to see if I liked it and I do, but I wouldn't be playing with my friend until later or tomorrow. I got past the first boss guy and I'm in the desert and now I'm wondering if I'm able to keep this run while also playing with someone else in their run. If not that's fine but I just wanna know.

Finding the game too difficult

Had a lot of trouble trying to play this game. I play on drizzle cause I'm not really that good at these kinda games, but I just get obliterated. I think the furthest I've made it is the 4th stage and I can't get any further. A lot of the items I get seem kinda bad, I end up getting overwhelmed by the sheer amount of enemies that will spawn and I can't deal enough damage to really kill them all. Am I doing something wrong or am I just really bad?

I've been playing V2 since it released, played on xbox and then moved to pc. But I never really bothered touching the weaves until now. What exactly was fat sharks main intention for us to farm essence to level up? Cause it seems like you'd need hundreds of thousands of essence to max out the classes and doing the first two weaves got me like 400 essence or something silly.

I did a veteran QP weave, died near the end and got 1800 essence. Like losing nets me bigger gains than winning but I guess the first weaves are on recruit. I know after completing some ranked weaves you start getting essence from regular missions outside of the weaves but surely they didn't want people to farm regular missions, just to be able to level up to play harder weaves?

Hi, I'm not too sure what other models to buy for my army. I would like to eventually play a bit and not just have them look cool on my shelf. I have a bunch of stuff already but I want to get some more I'm just not sure what's like actually good? I'd be using thanquol as general for sure, although I've been told krittok is who you want for stormvermin who I'd also like to field as they're my favourite non hero units.

What I don't really have is much in the way of ranged units outside of a WLC. I have two of the old metal ratling gunners but they need to be run in units of three now so I can't use them at the moment. Jezzails look kinda cool but they're a bit expensive (money not points) and I'm not sure how many you'd actually want and if they're good to use. I imagine I should also buy the unit of plastic ratlings at some point so I can use them.

The last skaven rulebook I had was like 2022 and I took a break from my models, so the new points are a bit odd to me. The way clanrats are 150 points each now and everything else is a lot cheaper, I don't really mind it because I recall a time when stormvermin cost so much and thanquol was over 400 points.
