This sub post has been boring lately so lets spice it up with some interesting topics. Give out interesting premise that your favorite characters in TGAOA would look like if they were in the Project Moon universe, which wings they will hail from, what factions they are allied to and if they were fixers or syndicate members, what rank and status they would have. Or if you have a hard time to make up a story just name the character and the reply will make up stuff

I bought an Asus Tuf A16. Specs Ryzen 9 8940HX, RTX 5060. I am new to Asus and need some advice on what to do first before using it.

I've been checking all previous post and Youtube vids on what to do next but I feel like directly asking people in this sub for better answers. Is there anything I need to remove from the computer or things to know beforehand. I am going to use this laptop a lot for 3D softwares and for gaming part I never play aaa gaming and just indie game or optimized pvp games

Need help on laptop brand recommendation and specs for 3D software and game development.

I am planning to learn 3d art and use it for game development purpose and sometimes animation, I am leaning on low poly first before going for more complex stuff as time goes on but my old laptop specs is an entry level too weak for me to run blender or any software nad the workflow is too slow.

I know some people would suggest to buy a pc or build a pc on my own but I am going to learn in creative multimedia in college soon so a pc would not do.

I'm having a dilemma on what laptop brand I should buy because after searching and researching stuff in the internet I see a lot of people complaining about their laptops brands being broken, motherboard damaged etc either because of faulty hardware or the person using it just blast high graphics on everything that it heats up the motherboard probably. I do game sometimes but most of the games I play are optimized games or indie games, I'm not quite interested in high title games so gaming is not the issue.

I just want to know if the laptop specs are sufficient enough to keep me going for a long time and the budget I might spend is around RM4k+.
