So have any slots been released lately over the past 2 weeks?

I am a 30+ year-old Indian professional holding a Master’s degree in Economics, with 5+ years of experience in research and government consulting.

I am currently considering the following Oxford programmes:

a. MSc in Economics for Development
b. MSc in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation
c. MSc Financial Economics
d. Master of Public Policy (MPP)

As I evaluate the programmes, I would appreciate additional insights into the student profile and outcomes of each programme. Specifically:

I. What are the average age and years of professional experience within the cohort?

II. What are the typical career outcomes and placement trends following graduation?

III. What opportunities exist for networking with peers, alumni, employers, and practitioners?

I noticed that several graduates from HKS appear to be working in HKS-affiliated labs, while some Oxford Blavatnik graduates seem to be working as independent consultants.

This made me curious about the overall employment outcomes for graduates of these Schools as well as SIPA, LSE etc, the strength of their networking opportunities, career services, and job placement support.

Would appreciate any insights on long-term trends as well.

I can see OFC posts and dates available at times. Once an OFC appointment is booked, is that sufficient, or is a separate consular appointment still required? Could you please clarify the process?

I have been closely following F-1 visa appointment availability across U.S. consulates in India but have not yet been able to secure a slot. As my program begins in September, I would greatly appreciate any advice or guidance on the most effective way to proceed.
