Large yellow “mucus plug” (?) + other symptoms with Mirena

I (F19) got my mirena in on August 13th. My bf ejaculated in me for the first time on the 21st, 8 days after insertion—and then of course a few more times between then and now.

On sept 20, I woke up EXTREMELY bloated. Right as I was about to go shower later in the evening I realized, at some point in the day, I passed a large, sticky, transparent/yellow-tinted blob (I’ve been spotting brown blood for ~40 days now, and I assume the spotting has to do with the coloring) about the width of a quarter. The texture was almost like one of those slimes you use to clean dust out of a car. It had no odor, but it did alarm me.

At this point it’s important to note that I have never been able to feel my strings, and I have yet to have an ultrasound/iud check with my doctor because she canceled my appointment last minute. When I got in the shower I did decide to try to check my strings and I could actually slightly feel it this time, but I was unable to again after I got out.

It’s October 1st now, and I’ve begun to feel nauseous out of nowhere. The extreme bloating and mucus plug symptoms haven’t come back. I’m wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience, because none of these side effects were something my doctor had told me about when I originally had a consultation with her. Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Is it legal to move snakes out of roadways in GA?

I live out in the country, so every now and then I'll find wild animals in the middle of the road. Occasionally it’s snakes, and I can identify local species pretty well so the harmless ones I'll pick up with my hands (since it’s easiest) and move to the side they're already heading toward so they don't get run over.

Anyway, a few years ago, I came across a rainbow snake on the road. I had heard of them before and knew they were a rare find, so I thought it was really cool. While I was holding it (allegedly!), I took a couple pictures.

The other day I was talking with a friend and snakes came up in conversation. I showed her the photos of the rainbow snake, and she insisted that handling it was illegal and that I could have been fined for it. I tried looking into it myself, but all I can find is that Georgia protects nonvenomous snakes from harassment. What I haven't been able to figure out is whether that applies to moving a snake out of manmade danger, like being stranded in the middle of a road.

I figured at least somebody in here herps and is familiar with these laws, so Is that actually true? If so, it seems like a pretty stupid law.

I tried looking into it myself, but all I can find is that Georgia protects nonvenomous snakes from harassment. What I haven't been able to figure out is whether that applies to briefly moving a snake out of immediate, unnatural danger, like being stranded in the middle of a road.

I figured at least somebody in here herps in Georgia and is familiar with these laws, so Is that actually true? If so, it seems like a pretty stupid law.
