The Pats signed Vera-Tucker to a huge 3 year, $42m deal with $21m guaranteed.

Vera-Tucker was selected in the first round by the Jets in 2021, but has been plagued by injuries. He broke out in 2024, allowing only a 2.8% pressure rate and rained 10th overall amongst guards by PFF. However, he missed the entire 2025 season with a torn tricep.

The Pats have an obvious and glaring need for IOL talent, and Vera could be the answer. But I wonder if the Pats over-paid for Vera. Seems like they’re paying for him at his 2024 production without factoring in his injury history.

Granted, I’m not familiar with the severity of his tricep injury or the exact details of his contract. My overall assessment is that this is a high-risk, high-reward signing.

What are your guys thoughts?

It’s a 1QB league so the 1.02 would be Tate or Tyson.

I’m a competing team and was just offered this package for Kenneth Walker. I know for a fact that either Lemon or Price will be there at the 1.05.

I’m not a big fan of Tracy tbh. But I just wanted to get a sanity check from ya’ll: should I take this?

I’m very tempted to accept, but I don’t want to make a mistake. Do I trade KW3 side for Williams and the 1.02?

What should I give up to get the 1.03 (Tate)?

I have the 1.01 and will be taking Love. The guy with the 1.02 is super high on Tyson and will 100% be taking him with the 1.02.

My teammate has the 1.03 but is being stingy. He’s a huge Seahawks fan - I think he’ll be taking Price. A huge reach, I know, but he makes emotional trades and picks all the time. I think this - wanting to take Price - is part of the reason why he’s being difficult to trade with.

Trading to the 1.04, 1.05, or 1.06 are out of the question. They’re owned by a league mate who is rebuilding and absolutely refuses to consider offers.

My question is: what should I give up to get the 1.03? I’d love to get Tate. I obviously have an abundance of WRs and very little RB depth, so trading KW3 or Love is pretty much out of the question.

I have the almost 100% guaranteed 27 2.01 (I know that nothing is guaranteed but believe me, this is as close as it gets). A league mate offered me AJ Brown for it straight up.
