I’m so tired of having periods

I know periods are normal, but I’m so tired of having to deal with them.

Every month it’s the same thing — mood swings before it starts, cramps, bleeding, feeling uncomfortable, and then having to constantly buy and use different products like pads, tampons, menstrual cups, discs, liners… all of it.

It just feels unfair sometimes. Like my body is already exhausted, and I still have to manage the mess, the pain, the cost, and the stress around it.

I’m not looking for a big solution. I just needed to say it somewhere: periods are exhausting, and I hate how much energy they take from me.

I had a nightmare about living with a man who scared me

I had a nightmare that left me feeling really gross and shaken.

In the dream, I was renting a place with a man, and he hurt me twice. I don’t remember all the details, but I remember feeling helpless, scared, and trapped around him.

What stuck with me the most was how much I hated being near him. Something him felt unsafe, creepy, and disgusting, and that made the whole dream even worse.

I know it was only a dream, but the feeling stayed with me after I woke up. Has anyone else had a dream like this, where someone you live with suddenly feels dangerous?

Am I the only one who’s kicking themselves for not watching Hacks earlier? I finally started it and now I’m completely hooked.
