i moved to pune for my first job. thought i had packed smart.

two bags. one box. seemed manageable when i was leaving home.

then reality started stacking up, auto to the railway station. train to pune. another auto to the pg.

and then i reached. third floor. no lift.
landlord was not available

i still remember standing there, sweating, tired, staring at my luggage like it had personally betrayed me.

why has nobody solved the arrivals waiting problem in India yet?

I had a 5 hour layover in Hyderabad last year. I thought finally, I'll actually see something. Then I remembered I had checked bags in the hold that I couldn't take out and a cabin bag I didn't want to drag anywhere. I spent all five hours in the terminal. Hyderabad was right there. how do you actually make use of a mid length layover without your bags becoming the whole problem?'
