D23 rumours

Hearing rumblings of rumours about a Star Wars announcement for Paris this D23 weekend…

People think Discoveryland may be completely rethemed to Star Wars. I guess they already have Hyperspace Mountain and Star Tours, plus Autopia’s days are kinda numbered… but didn’t they just refurb Buzz with new effects?

Either way I’d be sad if this happened because I love the steampunk vibe of Discoveryland!

Any takes on this? Or more broadly, what are your hopes/fears/predictions for Paris this coming weekend at the Expo?

Personally I’m hoping they announce the third land around the Adventure World lake, and I hope it isn’t Avatar. I know Moana is another one people suggest for this, which I wouldn’t begrudge but I’d much rather Zootopia like the one in Shanghai

Easy Access Pass question

Hi guys. My boyfriend has Ulcerative Colitis so we’re planning to get him the easy access pass for our visit.

DLP website says to obtain from a doctor “the original of a medical certificate by a doctor, signed and dated, stating that you are suffering from a long term pathology or chronic disease without indicating the illness in question”

Any idea why it says not to have the name of the illness on the certificate? Surely that would be the most important part?

Go-pro style camera cat collar with a breakaway clasp and no subscription?

Does such a thing exist? Struggling to find something that ticks all boxes.

My two cats go outside and they don’t seem to roam far but the one is too nosey and friendly for her own good. They both wear collars with a tag with our address on, so they clearly have a home. But I just want to put one on her for a day or two just to get a feel of where she goes.

I have no reason to believe she’s being fed or lured into someone’s home, but just for my own peace of mind really.

With the hot weather lately so many people’s windows are open and I know it sounds crazy but I get this anxious thought of her wandering into someone’s house, them not realising, and shutting her in. I kinda just want to see some boring footage of her roaming around chasing birds and sunbathing to put my mind at ease.

Additional context: the cat flap is only unlocked between breakfast and dinner (roughly 6am-6pm)

Is it possible to eat hotel breakfast and still get in line early for extra magic time?

Been several times but never had a meal plan.

Have a reservation for Walt’s and also Downtown Buffet so wondering if a meal plan may be worth it with these higher end dining reservations. But am I right in thinking the meal plan breakfast has to be at your hotel? We like to queue up early for rope drop/extra magic hour, so worried a hotel breakfast would make us get to the park later than we’d like

Anyone else’s cat seem to like going to the vets?

I have a bonded pair that I adopted in January. They’ve been to the vets a few times for a n introductory appointment, and again for a vaccine. The more nervous cat understandably hates it but the more confident one actually doesn’t seem phased at all. She’s so nosy and curious that she can’t wait for her part to be done so she can jump down off the table and snoop around the vets room while her sister has her turn.

Hi everyone! I’m from the U.K. and Me and my partner had some Virgin Atlantic air miles to use and have just booked our flights to Barbados next March with them.

It’s somewhere we never would’ve been able to afford to fly to otherwise so we’re very excited. But we’re unsure on which of our two options to take regarding where to stay. It seems the choice is:

A) Stay in a hotel in a more convenient location for a lot of money

B) Stay in an Airbnb style apartment/guesthouse a little further from the coast for about half the cost of a hotel and hire a car to get around

My questions are: is car hire expensive? Are the roads okay to drive on and feel safe? My partner has driven abroad once before in Greece but would like to know that we’ll feel safe regarding the roads and other drivers in Barbados.

Any advise or insight that will help us decide is very welcome :)
