I babysit this kid and his parents got him this fish but he’s not really cared for. The parents let me take him but I noticed these clear/white spots on him and don’t know what it is. He’s currently in a 1.5 gallon and eats only pellets with a single, fairly soft, fake plant but I’m planning to upgrade, just scared it’ll make it worse. Any help is appreciated
So I accidentally became a hermit crab owner (won him as a fair prize literally this morning) and I threw together a tank. He immediately ate some dried mealworms, explored a bit then hid in a little hide. He’s not making a tunnel, more so just moving sand around and I cannot tell if this is he’s trying to molt or if he’s getting comfy. He’s facing up with his legs out of the little hole he made and very occasionally coming out of it but never leaving the hid and I don’t know if I should be concerned. I don’t have a heater and idk the humidity since I did not expect him at all and am running with stuff from fish and isopod tanks. I put around 2 inches of substrate in a 10 gallon tank. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
