Waxed my head this weekend! After shaving weekly for years and years, I put faith in my pain tolerance and I’m so happy to have it GONE. My girlfriend is a trooper for making it possible (she hated every second of it because it hurt).
Advice is welcome! I’ve never waxed anything before but I assume keeping the area exfoliated and washed is the business until it grows back :)
I painted my bike a few weeks ago to the gold and colorful triangles. I think I’ll comeback to it one day, but it felt a bit off right now. Last week I decided to change it and I’m halfway through with sanding the base coats smooth! Picture taken last night. I have to ride around to work on this McDonald’s ad until I hopefully finish this next weekend haha.
Tell me what you think, I change colors about every year so when the fancy hits me in spring
Edit for clarification: tires are going to be changed so idgaf about those. I can easily kill the over spray on permanent fixtures, that will be addressed when I’m done painting. I am HALFWAY DONE STILL SANDING THE FINAL COLOR ISNT ON. Final color looks much more full imo with a toner on beneath. I was hoping for something more clever and funny with engagement about the colors but I think I broke too many brains with the ugly phase. Can’t wait to post final! Hopefully next week :) I only have three days on the weekend to remove paint, sand, and put on the base coats.
