My husband is starting his paternity leave soon and I’m trying to find another carrier that would suit him better.

I’ve been using the Ergobaby Omni 360 and it’s been fine. It’s not the easiest to put on by myself and adjust. Also the material feels a bit too heavy for the hotter months.

What’s the easiest carrier to put on/adjust solo while also being made of a light/breathable material?

I‘m hoping to travel to the Caribbean this summer to visit family. My baby will be 7 months by then. This will be our first major trip with him and I’m trying to wrap my brain around how I can essentially transport the feeding setup we have going now.

I‘m doing the pitcher method + fridge hack and rely heavily on the momcozy bottle washer/sterilizer to deal with all the bottles throughout the day. Also have the Dr.Brown freeze and fold bag that worked great on a recent two-hourish trip to transport the pitchers from point A to point B but doubt would keep the pitchers cool long enough for this other trip.

How do you all do it?

Do you bring along what you’ve already pumped? How do you keep it cool until you get to the destination?

For those who have combo-fed, do you just go back to formula for the trip to simplify things?

How do you properly clean the bottles? I know I don’t have to necessarily sterilize any more once he’s 7 months old but the tap water there in the caribbean isn’t great and I would definitely want to sterilize. Or would sterilize not be enough and I should use bottled water to clean?
