Alliance tattoo by Luc Caparoon at No Regrets

Little context!

I’m in my 20s now, and World of Warcraft came out the year I was born. My very first memory is watching my dad play, flying through the Undercity on a bat.

WoW was how I learned how to use a computer, it was the game we couldn’t always have due to money, but whenever we did, I would play and play and play it to no end. As I got a little older and I started experiencing the bad things that earned me my PTSD diagnosis, WoW was my bday gift every year. After the bad stuff would happen, I would go and retreat to Azeroth and play all night until the sun came up. It became my safe place, where I would go to and forget all the terrible things I’d experienced that day. While I may not have enjoyed every expansion, I still continued to play, enjoying my home of Azeroth.

I’ve known since I was a very small child that my first tattoos would be the Alliance and the Horde symbols and as time went on, that idea only reinforced. Now, I’m an adult and I finally got both symbols tattooed on my skin forever. It will always be a reminder of my home and that I was able to make it through those terrible years of my life. It reminds me that I can be strong and get through the tough years to come.

For me, these tattoos are not just about Alliance and Horde, it’s a reminder that I can make it.

That said, I’m really happy with these tattoos. The Alliance hurt like a bitch, but I made it through that too! When I feel down, or like I can’t go on, I can look at these and feel a little better.

I hope you like them! If you don’t like them, just scroll! No need to be mean!

Hate modern pop music

It’s like nails on a chalkboard to me. I know they have die hard fans, but I just cannot get behind it. I like a pop song on occasion, but a majority of what you hear on store radios is awful to me. Not to say I like stomp class hey ass music, I just don’t like most pop, I’m so picky about it. Older pop can be good sometimes, but I’m picky with that too. I can handle listening to it better than the newer stuff though. Not to say my own music taste is impeccable or anything, cuz it’s definitely not, but it’s better than this stuff to me. I realize I sound old for saying stuff like this, but idk man, I’ve just never liked it. Even growing up I didn’t like pop music much. Im only in my 20’s man, I’m not ready for the pop to only get worse.

Working in a store where they play this kind of music on loop is not helping either.

Nails on a chalkboard. Stepping on a Lego bad. Slept on your neck wrong bad.
