Magister's Terrace tip for everyone

Hey everyone! I figured I'd drop this here for folks to read so more people understand this. When you enter the book room in Magister's Terrace where you drop down from the spiral walkway and try to avoid all the dudes, in my terrible MSPaint drawing above,

TAKE THE PURPLE ROUTE.

The room clears out when you kill the guy over by the exit. You can drop down to the *left* and line of sight pull the guy over by the books that will be behind you, and fight him in a big open space. Once he's dead, the room clears out.

This is both a shorter path and less time consuming path since you don't have to fight the larger pack of books around the back side.

You're welcome

The light was never a force of good, but of faith.

I see many people saying how the lore in midnight is trash, how they distorted the light, but i disagree.

The light was never a force of good. We saw it in warcraft 3 when arthas still managed to use the light even after killing lots of innocents in stratholme.

The light follows faith, it's always been that way. The " paladins blinded by the light" we see in midnight, like in the raid? It's just the typical zealot, like the scarlet crusade.

We never focused in the scarlet crusade so much to notice them turning into crazy zealots, but in midnight, we live with them, we interact with them, so we see it happening first hand. Lothraxion already looked like a zealot in legion, but his focus was in the burning legion.

No matter how evil someone is, the light help anyone with enough faith. That's why anduin didn't use the light for some time, because he lost faith after what he did in shadowlands

How's that normal? I mean, if a person wants 10k or whatever tip, why don't just say it directly? "Fair tips" xD

Class recommendation for a GW2 player

After 5 long on and off years of playing I have finally achieved my goal of becoming a Fractal God in GW2, and I think it is time for a bit of a change.

I am mainly interested in organized PvE, both dungeons and raids, mainly as a DPS player with an offshoot of tanking.

In Guild Wars, some classes have gimmicks you need to adhere to: You need to stand in the bosses hit box, your dps rotation involves forced movement, RPM of the rotation goes over 90 keys presses per minute, some needed a persistent counting of autoattack chains. Some classes have silly ramp up times which disqualify you at encounters where burst is desirable, some are very limited in range and are discouraged from encounters where melee is a disadvantage.

WoW is a different environment I am not familiar with. I am looking for a class that might not be necessarily the "best DPS", but hast the fewest gimmicks, and disadvantages, and is least taxing in order to break into the endgame PvE.

EDIT: Just to clarify, I will be choosing a main to play after I am more familiar with the game. I am merely looking for something to start with.

WoW art I've made this year (well, part of them)

I've been working with world of warcraft art commissions for a little while and wanted to share some recent artwork I've done. There is more from this year and prior in my bluesky if anyone is interested:

A thing I love more than new content: quality, finished content

I love new content as much as anybody. But this game is incredibly expansive as it is. Periods—and yes, I know we’re on the order of months here—of a lower release cadence are okay.

We cannot be seriously flooding the front page with things that *must* be fixed and polished in a Summer Sweep-Up while simultaneously decrying the amount of content coming out. Asking for it both ways is how you end up needing *more* sweep-up-type efforts. It is how you end up with a lot more Red Reef-like releases.

Shadow Priest or Beast Mastery for keys and raiding?

Looking to make a ranged character and I think these are the two that interest me most. I have no interest in healing. Which would get me farther?

Favorite Timeline/Expansion

What is your favorite timeline/expansion and why?

I’ve always loved Wrath of the Lich King since it first came out and I feel like nothing can top that one (for me)

I have always found the story so interesting and enjoyable. I feel like the next after that is Legion because the story will so enjoyable.

[OC] How's my Elf?

I started this study a hot minute back, but I was looking for feedback on my elf approximations. It's interesting how, even where an "elf" is just a pointy-eared human much of the time, many IPs have their own quirks to their design that make them varying shades of unique.

If I had to pick one, WoW was probably the hardest... but that's mostly down to how intense WoW's stylisation is. Hopefully I found a happy medium?

Why is the cost of dawncrest for Main and Offhand double the amount istead of a 2handweapon

I got a sword and an offhand for my warlock

Both are a hundret crests

If i got a staff, i only need 100 for the whole staff

Also i wanted to switch to a staff, but i would have to Upgrade it again with crests, dispite my manhand being 6/6?

Is this... Intended?!

Weird bug: this floating rotunda above the Sanctum of Light will disable all in-game sounds (except music) if you go there.

It will silence your mount, all of your spells and even the sounds your UI makes. None of the other floating islands do this.

Can we get bad luck protection on keystone rolls?

Ran 8 dungeons with just my key for vault, and only got to play 4 of them.

What a phenomenal gaming experience.
