I’ve been a little overweight for most of my life — just pudgy, but I can buy a men’s suit off the shelf so within normal range of chest-to-waist.
I just returned from a beach trip and saw so many thin or “normal” sized dudes. I know only a certain demographic is going to the beach and going shirtless, but it got me wondering: what is the diet of a “normal” guy that achieves that type of body?
I’m not talking about the gym goer who eats high protein and is carrying mass in the shoulders and chest to create a V-shaped upper body; I just mean the perfectly flat, unsculpted chest…like a grown-ass 4 year old.
Are they eating small meals? They have to be eating junk food, but is it rare? No bread? What creates this boring-but-probably-healthy body type?
(Tagged as shitpost because this doesn’t really matter)
I have been considering a buying new vehicle soon.
Insurance for my 2015 ICE is $99/month. As we know, there are lots of factors that go into an insurance price, but with my factors that’s where I landed.
I started looking at electric cars and one of these things is not like the others (all with same company, same parameters, same driver, etc):
* 2026 Mustang Mach E (AWD): $108/m
* 2026 Volvo EX90: $126/m
* 2026 Tesla Model Y (AWD): $184.00/m
* 2026 Lexus RZ (AWD): $98/m
* 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5 (AWD): $118/m
It’s absurd how much more the most common selling Tesla is than some of its competitors, especially the not-so-reliable EX90. Even a new BMW X5 AWD is cheaper and that vehicle starts at $25K more than the Tesla dual motor.
Edit: somehow, a Rivian R1T Is $116/m, cheaper than an Ioniq 5. Insurance algorithms are crazy.
This information is not in the manual (probably because software updates could change it), but to anyone who has the EV:
Can you turn the generated EV sound off? Additionally, can you reduce the volume of the touchscreen selection chime?
Thanks!
