I'd rather not have .5 and .7 patches than get the low effort invasion garbage and recycled content we're about to get (again)

Ever since the war within they've committed to their "super fast 8 week content" bullshit and it's starting to get really tiring. Siren isle? just a recycled island expedition. Nightfall? legion invasions. Void assaults? legion invasions and less than half of a delve. heroic world tier? increased aggro range and hp on recycled legion worlds. next patch? legion invasions, again.

The worst part about these isn't even that it's the same type of content over and over, it's that they aren't even worth doing for alts anymore. It only takes like 3 weeks of delves in a season (we're about to be at week 8) to get hero track gear to show up on a vendor at the end. Almost every time they add one of these little garbage events you get free champion gear (which is already free, ESPECIALLY this season) and maybe 1 hero piece a week. What about cosmetics? All recolors and maybe a shitty purple filter if you're lucky. Out of all of the invasions they've added recently you can just afk in them too, making them a slog to complete if you're actually playing since speed the bar fills up is based on how many people are in the area. Nobody except the most hardcore collectors are doing this low effort content after the first week unless you have 500 alts and REALLY hate delves.

So i have to ask, what's the point? Why do we keep adding this stuff when it's clear that no effort goes into it and nobody actively playing gets anything from it? I'd rather go back to 12-16 week waits for "decent" content than another world event where i fill a bar for a recolored mount every 2 months

How has heroic ula'tek not gotten any meaningful nerfs yet?

My guild is one that usually does aotc and then the first 2-3 mythic bosses and that's it. I'm not claiming to be hardcore nor should anyone assume that were are, but we can usually get aotc in the first 2 weeks and then farm. For the first patch ever, our guild is still stuck on the final boss almost 2 months later and many of our core has called it for the season. For a heroic boss, ula'tek is insanely demanding and leaves almost no room for error on p3 on top of really good dps. Our dps is just about there, but there is SO much shit and damage going on between the second and third platform breaks that we can never make it. Usually this wouldn't be a problem, wait a few weeks and outgear it, but we can't do that either because ALL of our remaining upgrades are off of the boss we can't actually kill. And pugging? forget it. Unless you already have aotc or are willing to spend 5+ hours on tuesday, it's borderline impossible for pugs to see past phase 2 let alone platform breaks. World first race has been over for weeks at this point and the .5 patch is already coming, but no nerfs in sight. What happened?

Combusting interest might currently be giving gold from other people's burns as well as your own

Just played a game as aurelion sol with my only income augment being combusting interest. Randomly throughout the game I was getting bursts of 200-800g while dead when no enemy champions were dying. My team had another liandrys user and the enemy team had malignance gp ult and sunfires. I wasn't getting any assists during these bursts of gold

Having a bonus roll available from the vault for bad luck is great, having 80% of my bis be locked to 2 bosses is not

I opened my vault again today after killing heroic altar for the first time last week, fully expecting to not get any of the gear from it. 2 of the options I got are technically upgrades, one even being bis bracers, but I can't in good faith choose them knowing that 4/5 drops on ulatek and 4/6 drops on coiled altar are bis. The weapons and trinkets from these bosses alone are so powerful that getting anything below bis tier from vault isn't worth it, and the rest of the gear from these bosses is already miles ahead of most dungeon gear this patch because it doesn't have vers. Even the worst roll on altar or ulatek will be better than 99% of gear that shows up in the dungeon row for my vault, and that just feels awful.

Can we maybe get the skin team to redo the new chromas?

The base looks good and the blue one looks good but these are kinda ugly (not the good kind of ugly that urgot is supposed to be either)

I want to like enderal, but i like to clear areas before moving on and it's really hampering my experience

I like to do a lot of side quests before doing the main story in these types of games, and with the sheer volume of quests and mobs that give high exp around ark, I've heavily over-leveled even the higher level side quests in ark. Over-leveling isn't that bad on its own, but because loot and enemies aren't randomized or level scaled at all the game very quickly becomes me ignoring all loot in dungeons, from quests, on vendors, etc. and seeing the exact same 5 enemy types for hours and hours. After about 25 hours I've finally gotten to a point where I just left ark because there is somehow still side content and I got tired of no new weapon types, enemies, or set bonuses showing up

I want to complete all of the content, but it feels like I'm actively punished for staying and trying to clear out an area. Should I just be focusing on the main story before anything else? How do I decide when I'm just supposed to drop all side quests and move on? I've gotten to level 25 in ark and I've only barely progressed into the golden sickle and undercity mafia questlines, and I can't tell when they'll pick up back to my level and give me something worth equipping again

League of legends had 100 champions before season 3, almost half of the champions playable at that time are missing and THAT is contributing more to classic dying than anything else

That's basically it. If people wonder what the main reason for not wanting to play classic is, it's because their champions are not in. Jayce was the 100th champion and he was released 4 months before the season 3 preseason, classic released with 60 champions. Almost half of the roster that was playable for their "target season" of season 3, are not playable.

A lot of people point towards the re-grinding of runes being a massive killer for classic, but if you actually played it takes less than a day to get a viable rune page for IP in classic, where it can still take months to get the entire roster via blue essence

A lot of people point towards modern skins being available as being a massive killer for classic, and it is, but a good chunk of the modern skins available for use do not change the skeleton or hitboxes. Modern skins for champions like sion and skarner where it uses their post rework model are a knife to the eyes, but does anyone really care if you're using toy terror chogath, debonair brand, or zap'maw? probably not

For me the 2 biggest problems of classic are the fact that I can't play almost any of the champions I wanted from classic, and the mmr issue. If you have a decent win rate, your mmr tries to place you with players that simply don't exist. I have a 58% win rate on classic in NA and my queues can go over 15 minutes, if I queue with my girlfriend who has only played 5~ games of classic, my queue times are under 3 minutes. But you know what? I wouldn't mind 15 minute queues or even regrinding runes at the original rates if I could just play old urgot again

I understand the complaint about re-grinding runes, but it took like 2 days to get a full page of runes I wanted

Are the people complaining about runes just not playing? If you want to have a hyper optimized rune page for every single champion yeah I guess it might take a small amount of time, but someone even posted that faker only used 2 rune pages (one for ad one for ap) back in the day, and it isn't even remotely as annoying as grinding champions

The imperial mandate rework is the modern day athene's unholy grail

Originally meant to help support characters by giving them more access to their cc moves, it is now being built on just about any mage that has a cc move. biggest offender being galio, but i'm even seeing shacos build it because it reduces w and ult cd. What are the chances it gets reworked/reverted again? It's basically better malignance for most champions and costs less

I've made too many poor financial decisions recently, I'm starting a new job soon but will only barely be able to afford credit card minimums and rent

I moved out of state with only $2000 to my name with the help of my roommate and another $2000 coming back from my 401k and without a new job confirmed before moving. It took almost 3 months to get a job so I blew through it all and had to rely on my roommate for a bit before I got hired. Only lasted at that job a month due to the stress and working conditions, took me another month to find another job and I had to take out a $15000 loan (again with the help of my roommate) in order to not lose my car, miss rent, or miss credit card payments. With the sudden influx of money my brain basically shut off and I started eating out a ton, buying shit I don't need, and basically just wasting my money in general. A few months later I am once again jobless because I couldn't handle the factory I was working in and my new job won't start me for 3 weeks, once I start that job it won't cover everything and most other employers near me have ghosted me.

I don't have a college degree, I don't have the money or time for trade school, what do I do? I'm completely fucked at this point unless I start defaulting on credit cards, sell my car, or take out another high interest loan (the most I'm eligible for is 5k with a $200 monthly payment which will only staunch the bleeding.) I'm genuinely freaking out because all of my poor planning and shit spending is coming back to bite me in the ass and I don't know what to do. My combined debt excluding my car is nearing 30k and with my car its 45k, my new job I will be making $18.80 an hour, and I still don't start it for 3 weeks.

Is defaulting on cards an option here? Do I sell my car? I know I've fucked up and have to make sacrifices but I don't know where to start

The amount of people using an addon to solve the ?? nemesis basically proves blizzard's point on addons inhibiting fight design

How are you supposed to design anything cool when seemingly 80% of the playerbase needs an addon for simon of all things? The boss is immune to damage during the memory game and the add only needs to be interrupted ONCE during the game, nothing else is going on. You already have access to world markers, callout macros that match said world markers, and valeera constantly dispelling/healing you. Blizzard can't design anything interesting if we keep using addons to solve the combat for us, what happened to going into fights blind and trying to learn them yourself?

I really want to like league classic, but the speed that champions are coming is killing the mode for me

I've been playing since season 2, i'm currently low master and I have about 60 games in classic. Seeing all the old items and map style is great, but there are like 15+ champions I wanted to play previous versions of that aren't currently available. If we're really only getting 3 a month, I could potentially be waiting upwards of 5 months for my favorites (assuming all of the ones I want are added back to back)

Surely they'll consider this right? I don't really want to play any more games until my favorites (for me personally, urgot poppy and mordekaiser) are available, but I worry the mode will be dead by the time they come out. My mmr is already so fucked that I wait 10+ minutes at prime time for a single game compared to 5 seconds for aram or 1:30~ for ranked. People WILL abandon the mode if champion releases are that slow

Name 1 augment that's bait on the same level as titans resolve

I have literally never gotten more than 2 stacks (out of the 10 needed to proc it) on ANY champion with ANY build. It doesn't seem to actually stack when taking damage and whether or not it stacks on your own damage is a crapshoot. This augment is broken, dogshit, or both and i'm tired of fucking thinking it'll do anything
