Gyms Near Grafton

Hi guys, just moved to Grafton and I’m looking for a good gym in the area. I’d be down to signing up for a private/local small gym if needed, but I’m assuming that would be very expensive. I was at EOS for $25/month for any gym location so that’s kind of my ballpark price. I know there’s a planet fitness near, but it doesn’t have squat racks and deadlifting platforms so that kinda sucks. I’ve heard form and fitness is not worth the price so any other recommendations would be great! I may just do the planet fitness cuz u can’t beat $15/month ngl.

If anyone is a gym owner, I’d love to chat and possibly sign up. Even a CrossFit gym or UFC gym has good lifting equipment too so lmk what u guys know!

Starting Strongman Journey

Hey guys, I am looking into starting a strongman/crossfit journey and changing up my lifting style. I used to play football my whole life, and that’s when training was fun. Running, explosive drills, explosive movements, and STRENGTH. It was so fun. Then I fell down the rabbit hole of “hypertrophy training” and a more bodybuilding split. Don’t get me wrong, it’s cool I guess but it’s just not fun. Recently the gym had felt like a chore and I don’t really feel like i worked out afterwards. I train hard but the motivation is not there.

Literally this morning I did my usual “upper” session that took like 50min total and was like “screw this, imma do some hang cleans, super set with pull-ups and walk down the 20yd “yard” and back”. I did this for literally 10min and that was the best I have felt in a while. And I know that’s not really “strongman” and more of a CrossFit workout, but still it was way better and I enjoyed it.

So with all of that being said, I want to do more strongman/crossfit style training. How does one even go about it? Training frequency, volume, exercises, etc. ANYTHING would help. I probably need to gain some weight to fuel this style of training cuz rn I’m a 23M, 6’2.5” at 173-175lbs. I have my physique posted on my Reddit as well.

As a senior in HS, I was 230lb and my maxes were
Squat- 445
Bench- 325
Power clean - 235

As of now, I could probably do half of those lifts which is so sad I know. I need help if anyone can do that! Anyone I could watch online or take tips from would be great!!!

SAFEEDS Review

EVERYONE LISTEN TO ME. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They did not honor the pickup date I signed with, the price of the agreement and have been shady through it all. What they do is get customers in on the low price they offer, take ur security deposit, no driver picks up the listing, then they jack the price up to what the other industry prices are.

Please don’t be dumb and naive like me, find a good reputable company PLEASE.

I WOULD LIKE TO GET MY MONEY BACK

Is This Normal?

Just got into making Kefir using kefir grains and I don’t think I did this right lol. It’s only day 3 and it’s super liquidy. Can someone who’s experienced let me know if this is right?

Please note, I’m a knucklehead and accidentally got lactose free skim milk so that could be the issue.
