So I've been wanting this one for a few months and had to wait until I could make a trip up north. Finally did and got it for $150 CDN at Sportchek!
I pretty much play every position on my team in an adult woodbat league (I'm very athletic and in very good shape for my age).
It's replacing my 11.75" R9 and is a great compliment to my custom HoH OF glove!
So background, I'm in my mid-40's and can throw pretty well. I have a 12u kid that I regularly throw BP for, I have pretty good control, can pick corners etc. He had an excellent year at the plate this year partially due to seeing so much live pitching instead of a machine. As he gets older I know he's going to want me to throw more and at higher velocities (I regularly exercise and am focusing on core strength).
So the rub is I had a shoulder injury right before COVID hit while playing hockey, so no chance really to go get it looked at or go to PT for it so it had to heal naturally. I'm sort of left with a "dead" arm slot which I can work around (I'm currently going to PT to work on this).
Anyways, a long winded background here, but has anyone used this for regularly throwing batting practice? Do you think its something that will increase one's longevity to throw?
Curious to hear some reviews here before I drop some HSA funds on it, looks like it gets good reviews but would like to hear if it would work well for my use case?
Well, he doesn't know it yet, he's an 11u player (great outfielder) and his favorite player is Julio Rodriguez. I found it for a price I couldn't refuse. He's got one more season left with his Rawlings Breakout and will get this for his 13u season and beyond.
I guess that gives me plenty of time to break it in and get it ready. He's going to flip out when he finally gets it!

Custom HoH 6019! Never had or played with a glove this nice despite being a pretty good player (had to work and buy my own gear growing up)..
I'm in my mid-40's and looking forward to gaming with it soon!!!
I ordered a custom 6019 HoH a week ago for my birthday present (mid 40's) and likely the last glove I get for myself.
I know the site says 6-7 weeks. Is that typical or have some of you seen them delivered sooner/later?
I normally swing a Rawlings Birch Torpedo. But at $180 a pop, it gets spendy when they break.
Can't wait to try it out this weekend!
