I lived in Virginia for practically all of my life, so I do remember this commercial, as there used to be a Friendly's around 40 miles from where I live. Does anyone else who lived or lives on the East Coast USA remember this commercial?

I used to prefer Christmas as a kid, but as I got older, its charm just kinda wore off ever since. I don't even hate it, but I'm just a bit "whatever" about it. Now these days, I prefer Thanksgiving because it feels more relaxed and I like that.

I've been addicted to this song lately!

What I mean is that I used to listen to a lot of rock and metal, and I still do, but ever since my mid 20s, I've been listening to more relaxed songs like soft rock, ballads, or anything that's introspective. It just feels more relatable and soothing than the more intense type of music.

For me, it's post-punk. I really couldn't tell you why I don't really care for it. Because it doesn't sound bad at all, and I love what they're going for with its atmospheric tone. I guess I just don't really care for the monotone singing that a lot of bands do or other post-punk vocals. But I do enjoy Siouxsie and the Banshees, especially the song "Spellbound".

What I'm trying to say is that I feel like I didn't accomplish much of anything. I wasn't always a shy person when I was way younger, but ever since around 4th or 5th grade, I became a shy, awkward, and anxious kid from middle school to high school due to how much I was bullied at school and I was afraid of the real world as I graduated high school. When it came to jobs, I didn't know what I wanted to do because of all of the bullying because I thought most people were rude, and that was my biggest fear. Now that I'm in my mid 20s, now I feel like I can do much of anything and I feel less anxious, but I wish I had this much enthusiasm even when I was bullied.

For me, it's Koopa's Seaside Soiree from MP4. It's actually one of the more enjoyable boards in the game. People hate the Koopa Bank on this, but there's actually a cool and undoubtedly unique idea that's never been done before in any other Mario Party. You give coins to Koopa and his resort gets bigger every time he receives enough coins for it to reach its final upgrade. Even when it does, you still keep giving him coins. But what makes this better is that let's say if you have 150 coins and you land on the happening space, and you have to pay Koopa like 145 coins, instantly bankrupting you to only 5 coins. And when this happens, his resort gets destroyed by a tidal wave, and you repeat the process by donating to him again. It's a great and funny moment for someone to have so many coins only for it to go away due to bad luck.

And of course, there's the RNG regarding which direction you're going because the Ukiki's drop a banana in the center. I also don't find this as an issue either because if the star happens to be in any of those areas, there's a good chance that someone might not get it because of the dolphin that takes them to a different area or section of the board. The chances are high enough for it to happen.

For me, it's Clockwork Castle from Mario Party 6. A lot of people love the board. I mean, I get it, but I just never got into it. And I don't even necessarily "hate" the map, but there are things that I don't like about it. My biggest complaint is Bowser because he moves so slow when it's his turn. And plus, for whatever reason, whenever he breathes out fire to use two dice, it seems like he always does it when he's near me, and near me only. Or if I'm near him, he doesn't use two dice and he rolls very low, and while I roll very high and still get to him.

Yeah, my main complaints are the insane RNG luck I get from this board map. It almost feels unfair.

I am one of the mods of this subreddit, and I've been seeing a lot of posts regarding topics like generations, primarily from people who aren't even older Zoomers, and I just had to remove a post right now. This isn't r/generationology. If you want these kinds of discussions, please go over there. We want this subreddit to be free from that. If you keep this up, you will be permanently banned from this subreddit.

For starters, I'm a 25 year old autistic man, but has anyone else here had little to no interests or hobbies as a kid, but now have a lot of interests and hobbies as an adult? Because I was one of those people, and it's one of those reasons why I prefer being an adult more than a kid. Granted, I still live with my parents, but it's also hard for me to find any jobs, especially since I'm interested in learning pretty much anything. Plus, I've also been less nervous around a lot of people, which was the biggest help for me to overcome my struggles.

I didn't go to my graduation because I was bullied at school and I also wasn't going to miss most people from there either. And I also had a feeling that if I did go, those same people will act fake and try to be friendly. I also just hated going to school in general, obviously.
