35f and 36m in a relationship for 2 years. Partner's ex (36) is STUNNING and it's eating me alive
When I say stunning, there are no words. She's an ex wetsuit and pageant model. Massive brown eyes, tanned, sparkling white teeth and huge smile - somehow she doesn't even look like she's ever wearing make up. Gorgeous figure. Objectively speaking, she might be the most beautiful woman I know.
I am tiny with piggy eyes and am maybe average but nothing special. They have a child together and ended on good terms so they see each other every once in a while but don't actually live near each other (child care is tricky!)
They still follow each other on social media so he still sees all her stunning model posts when she shares them.
Don't get me wrong. He loves me SO much. We are way more compatible and I think the world of him, as does he me. I just wonder if he still looks at her pictures and thinks 'wow, holy moly, I dated that'.
Ive asked him when he's drunk and he admits she's very beautiful but they weren't compatible. It still doesn't change the fact that he must still see her and think of how insanely gorgeous she is. She is MILES out of his league and he knows it I'm sure. So does he still wonder how he landed someone so insanely beautiful? Does he think he was lucky to have a child with her? Etc.
TL;DR boyfriends ex is a former model and still in his life. It's making me self conscious.
