They both came out pretty good. I followed all of BamBam's directions he included and each part fit together perfectly. I'm very impressed with the attention to detail given while fabricating and tweaking to come to the final design. I highly recommend this for your KX!
Has anyone here built and are using BamBam's AC(E)-X-PRO designed and offered on Patreon by BamBam?
I'm having a bit of trouble with the filament spool jamming inside the box while printing from the AC(E) X PRO box I've printed I'm using eSun PETG filament with those skinny cardboard spools they have. I'm seeing that the thin edge of the spool is getting hung up in that little space over the left side roller bearing toward the middle of the box, wedging in that little space and jamming. It's happened twice now with two different spools of the same (eSun) type. Anyone else having any similar problems? Any recommendations on how to prevent that happening going forward besides using filament that doesn't use these cardboard spools?
After a few single color prints I tried my hand at a multi colored print of a Kobra X toolbox. It came out OK except one corner of the tray in the top left of the picture where lifted from the print bed (notice the rough surface of filament in the top right of the tray). It still completed OK and is quite usable, but it isn't the way it's supposed to be.
