I'm building a concrete pool, 1.8m deep, 12m long and 7m wide, with a beach type slope from one side to the other (1:7 slope). The pool will be about 600mm above ground. It's not a perfect square, by design.

The concrete will be applied via shotcrete/gunite by some professional people. Since a truck can drive on concrete within 7 days, what would be the drying time enough to fill the pool with water?

I'll ask the concrete guy when I see him but thought I would ask. This is in a very warm climate (30degC).

I have installed ZorinOS on a second Lenovo laptop and spent a bit of time configuring some basic apps so that I can just work. Normal office work type stuff, no video editing, major graphics or anything.

I've had one crash when the laptop went to sleep and did not recover and Ive done nothing about it.

I'm really close to making this my main machine but wondering if anyone has any main things about what to configure for a good work desktop setup. Not necessarily apps, more about power management, wifi etc. so that I can just go and work.
