Stressing!

Just moved from Florida to Colorado at the end of April so naturally I figured my calatheas would throw a fit. My Network and Orbifolia are bouncing back a bit but my oldest Calathea, my Dottie, seems like she’s trying to kick the bucket.

My Dottie is my absolute fave so I’m kinda freaked out.

This could be several errors but I’m not sure how to pinpoint what did this.

  1. Could just be the humidity difference, ordered a humidifier to help. The other 2 aren’t really curling though, most leaf damage is due to the bumpy ride in the back of a uhaul.

  2. I started using filtered water from the fridge. Originally I used distilled water but I thought the filtered water wouldn’t hurt. Definitely going back to distilled water. Again, the other 2 don’t seem to care about the water difference.

  3. I had repotted it maybe a week or two ago; the move unsettled a lot of the soil in the pot. While doing so, I accidentally damaged a large chunk of the root ball, it’s been growing back those roots fairly well and I don’t see any signs of rot.

Is there anything else I could have missed and is there anything I can do to try to salvage her?

This is a north facing window, and we are in the city so that window doesn’t get a lot of light, hence the grow light.

Hello! I recently qualified for Colorado Medicaid after moving from FL.

I am VERY new to having Medicaid and I’m unsure how it works.

Since I just moved about 2 weeks ago I don’t have any drs set up yet. I do have old rxs written by drs in FL, they still have refills and are not expired.

I was wondering if I am able to fill these under my Denver Health Medicaid while waiting for my new PCP appointment. I really need to stay on my meds so I can’t not fill them while waiting.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you!!
