Created a place for people to chat about the movies+shows they watch!

Hi everybody! I had an idea to create a film club for my friends years ago then that sort of spiraled into app where people could talk about the things they watch in group chats. Then that idea expanded into something where people can speak about TV shows, movies AND sports (my passions). They wouldn’t be obligated to watch media assigned to a film club anymore. You’d just be able to watch whatever it is. You were already watching and talk about it with people who also watch those things. Me, my friends and family have been using it for the NBA Playoffs and Love Island and it’s been great. You can even toggle between Private chats with friends and Global chats with everyone. There are some dope features in there. Lmk what you think!

New App Feedback

Hey, so a while back I had an idea to start a film club (pretty basic). But, I’d run into some obvious issues like how do I serve people with different interests? There was no way to keep people interested in talking about a movie or show they didn’t care to watch. So, I came up with an idea to create group chats where people can talk about whatever movie/show it is they watched. Treat the group chats like theater rooms. My brother has a degree in CS and was able to code the app. Me and my friends have been on it for the past month and a half consistently and it’s been fun. We’re proud of it but would love to know what others think of the concept?

Built an app for tv, movie, and sports lovers

Hey, so me and my brother created an app that houses group chats for all television shows and films. You can also chat in live sporting events as well. It has some other profile customization features which allow people to connect with you through your similar interests in the arts. We just went live yesterday so if anybody is interested in trying it out, the link is down below.

Entertainment Social App

In beta testing for a social app me and my brother have been developing. For those with experience releasing somewhat of a social app, is there a good number of users I should have in a test group prior to release? Right now we’re sitting at 50 people in Alpha and Beta test groups combined and we’re anticipating releasing in the next two weeks. Should I look to hit a specific mark before release? I got that 50 from friends and acquaintances from social polls and word of mouth in a few days. I was hoping to get a few hundred in the next few weeks. Let me know your thoughts.
