Chimney Park update

Chimney Park is the Michelin-quality restaurant in nearby Windsor which experienced a devestating kitchen fire about a year ago.
Information on their return has been hard to come by. A Yelp status bar casually suggested they would return early this summer, but that time has passed.

Good news from chef Jason Shaeffer via email:

Home inspector experiences

My First Fort Collins home inspector cost me $7000.00 because he missed important details.

Last summer, I hired Fletcher's Home Inspections. They sent John Lockhart, who has great people skills and the most unbelievable intuition for finding problems and suspicious information. His report made me know more about that home than the original builder did. The owner mislisted square footage (added garage space to it), and as a licensed realtor himself, shame on him! No business from me if you try to deceive me.

I am in the market again and hired Fletcher's once again, but it turns out that the very-slow-to-respond seller's agent had an inspection report from Aspen Inspections, LLC performed by Jeff Hill. To my complete surprise, Mr. Hill's report was of a quality level similar to Fletcher's. It was good enough that I did not want to pay for another report, so I called Fletcher's to cancel -- one day before inspection.

This is the main reason for this post -- Fletcher's did not give me a hard time or make me even explain myself, during their busiest season no less -- they simply asked if I was sure, and that was it. They could have charged a cancellation fee, and I would have paid.

Thus, I vouch for both Fletcher's and Aspen. If you hire Fletcher's, ask for John Lockhart. If you hire Aspen, ask for Jeff Hill. These two are my proven, known, superhuman top-of-the-line inspectors. Both saved me time and money, and both very clearly take pride in their work.
