Just wanted to ask the question regarding this issue. I know they were never one of us, but still a lot these people claim they could not reconcile the sovereignty of god of who goes to hell and who to heaven, it goes something like that humans are gods puppet and god creates certain human for eternal torture which makes him immoral. When I first learned this theology I was also confused and had trouble learning but eventually I Surendered. These people on the other hand could not reconcile this , how would I address this to close relationship who turned exchristians

Man the Christians love bashing Islam about the immoral stuff such as Aisha and Muhammad but when I point them to god commanding raping of virgin girls in ot or marrying their rapist they start mental gymnastics🤸 that would win them diamond 💎 in the olympics

For context check earlier post, so today I actually talked with a close friend of my mine(exchristian) what it would take to convince her of whether god is real or not. She told me that when she was a Christian she prayed and even fasted for days to ask god to reveal himself unto her,all she got was silence, everyone in her family or church directed her to just read the bible, so she rigourously read the bible and ended up deciding that he is a monster and that she could not trust or worship this god, she is well versed in theology and knows bible more than many christians. She also read about how Christianity supposedly copied for other older religions and compiled it. She was afraid of hell that’s what kept her in faith for a long time,but after learning the history of several religions with hell especially zoraastrian through which original hell was borrowed in Christian tradition,she is no more afraid of it.
Point being she ended with the same statement, even if I try to believe in this god I just could not worship it.
After listening to her testimony i was blank, also she was very polite while telling me all this.
What reason can I give her to trust in god again.¿¿

I feel so sad looking at exchristians or exvangelicals, they seem to quit because of some theology or doubts. One of the main reason they mention is that If God is real, he would be evil and they won’t worship this god. They claim morality is subjective, they have no purpose, no meaning, nothing. It’s sad what they will discover after their death. So many of my family members, and friends have also deconstructed because of these reasons. They even call me fool or bigoted, less intelligent. I pray that may god forgive them.
