My bfs brother gives random compliments sometimes. But some of them come off as a slight diss. Like telling me my hair looks good not messy (like it usually is). Telling me he likes my shoes but follows up by pointing out the small hole in the butt of my sweats. My bf tells me his brother said i looked like the temu version of the marvel character Magick. Its the third time hes compared me to this character.​ He insists that its a compliment but clearly its a diss right? He always feels the need to tell me whatever his brother says about me but id rather not. Would you take it as a low key diss or am I overreacting?
